Being Grateful by Jennifer Heath
Trista Sutter seems to have it all.
She found true love through a fairytale romance in ABC’s original “Bachelorette”. She married a handsome, poetrywriting firefighter, Ryan Sutter, on national TV. She has two healthy children and lives in the Colorado mountains with her family. Trista has a lot to be grateful for… and that’s a reality. Sutter has written her first book, “Happily Ever After: The Life-Changing Power of a Grateful Heart” (Da Capo Lifelong Books, $24.99). The idea for the book began after she started posting her favorite part of the day on Twitter (#favepartofday). Her book explores how to live a thankful life through personal stories, experts’ advice and friends’ ideas. Each chapter ends with a “Happily Ever Action”, a section where she gives ideas to motivate readers to perform grateful actions.
Why was the book important for you to write now? I feel like it would have been important to write at any point in my life. I feel like gratitude has been a stabilizing force throughout my life, whether it’s keeping me grounded in the high, high times or bringing me up in the low times. … I really wanted
