Brief
Concept
Thrills
Redesign the Cheap Thrills logo and produce a special edition pack shot to be used for the labels forth coming singles.
Produce artwork based on the term “thrills�. This will be done through experimental processes and colour to be illustrated through laser cut and screen printing.

The uppercase font is a bold italic version of the Grotesk family which works well as a strong visual font, it is paired with a lower case from Champagne, this is a bold font with a low x-height and fits well as a font pair due to weight classification.
The logo has been produced through various processes to break up the rigid sans serif font to allow it to connote features relating to thrills but still remain highly legible.
The stock choices were gun metal grey, matt black for the outer covers. The inner covers are ice white, off white and champagne. There colours all work well together and allow artwork to be the primary focus on them.

Range
Colour
The range consists of 10 variations of vinyl cover and inners as well as a logo.
A bright range of florescent and black has been used to produce a vibrant colour scheme.

Processes
Screen Print
Laser Cut
A scanner has been used to break up the letter forms, these broken up letter forms have then been taken into Photoshop and wrapped ready to be printed as negatives for screen print.
Light gradients are formed on the screen as well as splattered over the top. Using various techniques the ink is printed to give an tremble and quivering effect.
On some of the record covers the logo has been laser cut to allow the artwork to shine through and expose the patterns onto the logo.
