THE IMPORTANCE OF CHOOSING THE RIGHT DRIVE BELT. CHOOSING THE RIGHT ONE CAN IMPACT POWER & PERFORMANCE. A drive belt is the essential link between engine & drivetrain, so there’s no overstating its importance for obtaining maximum power & efficiency.

If your drive belt can’t reach & maintain performance, then no amount fine-tuning or performance customization will make a difference.

Clutches & gears are calibrated for optimum ride-specific performance, so it only makes sense to use a specialized ride-specific drive belt too.

Our engineers always consider the heat generation & load conditions created by different riding styles. For example, the Maverick X3 produces higher drivetrain loads at hard throttle through dunes and requires a stiffer drive belt with high heat resistance. But a heavily loaded utility vehicle can also encounter high drivetrain loads.

However, the clutch calibration, engine, RPM, velocity, and work environment differ significantly necessitating a drive belt optimized for those conditions. That’s why it’s so important to choose the right drive belt.

Always make sure you match any replacement drive belt to the requirements of your BRP vehicle’s make & year of manufacture.

While third-party and BRP drive belts are identical in size & shape, ours were designed to deliver the highest levels of performance & longevity based upon your vehicle’s specific end-use and calibration.
