Latino Student Success CBU’s Latino Student Success is a nationally recognized program that assists Hispanic students during their time at CBU – providing financial assistance; social and cultural support through our student-run organization, Hola CBU; and partnership with Latino Memphis, a local agency that assists Latinos in the Greater Memphis area.

¡FELICIDADES! The White House recently recognized two of our Hispanic programs: our Latino Student Success and Hola CBU. The two programs were held up nationally as examples of providing quality education programming for Latinos.

We serve our diverse student population with a variety of programs that focus on and promote diversity—from hosting Salsa and Bachata Night and our Day of the Dead Celebration to inviting guest speakers, holding panel discussions and taking field trips to cultural sights across Memphis.

Hola CBU is an active, student-led organization that focuses on building community for Hispanic students through social, academic, and service activities, both on campus and in the community.
