It’s a great pleasure to welcome you to the 10th Annual First Class Female Sale. We are honored that you have taken the time to review the catalog, gave us a call with questions or will fill the seats at Dunlap to look over our offering and take home your choices from the very best that we have. We know that there are plenty of bred heifers for sale each fall and find it very gratifying to have you make your selections from our sale….many of you as repeat buyers each year. Thanks for your vote of confidence in our programs. As we review our pasture sale results and listen to other sale reports, it’s clear that really good cattle continue to bring really good money. Careful scrutiny of pedigrees, using the best genetics available and painstaking attention to detail are the keys to profitability in the Cattle Industry today. It’s our hope that you recognize that work that we have put into this set of females. They are ready to go to work for you. There are a few changes that we want you to note. The partners in the First Class Female Sale have changed this year. As a group, we continue to enjoy good working relationships and joint ownership on some cattle but they felt it was time to go a different direction in merchandising their bred heifers. We sure wish them well and will miss having them around on sale day. We would like to highlight two opportunities for our good customers to help market progeny out of First Class Females. If you need help marketing 2019 calves from the breds you buy, Brad, Luke and Chris will be glad to help in any way possible. Please let us know what you need and we will try to accommodate those needs. Secondly, Friday evening before the sale, we will again gather to offer some of the best frozen genetics out of past First Class Female sales. If you have some lots that you would like to consign, contact Brad, Luke or Chris.
