Preferred Substitutes in Aesop It is IMPORTANT to have your own preferred substitute list set up. You now have the ability to add or exclude anyone from your preferred substitute list. Your preferred subs will see openings 120 days in advance (the preferred sub must also be certified to teach in your subject area). If you do not have a preferred substitute list, and your Building has a preferred substitute list, they will see openings 8 days in advance. Please allow AESOP to contact your preferred subs. If you put your absence in AESOP early (between 120 days out and 8 days out), only your preferred subs will be contacted. The more you have on your preferred substitute list, the better chance your absence will be filled with your preferred subs. Please allow AESOP to work the way it is intended, automatically. Unless it is a emergency, we are no longer manually entering your absences and filling absences with your preferred substitute. Thank you for your understanding. Contact Brenda McNamara, ext. 1802, mcnamabj@chipfalls.org, if you have any questions.

2015 Health Plan Regulation Change The U.S. Department of Treasury recently released new requirements to be eligible to fund Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), established in conjunction with High Deductible Health Plans. Effective January 1, 2015, the minimum deductibles have been slightly increased, from the current $1,250 single coverage/$2,500 family coverage to: * $1,300 single * $2,600 family The District has been notified that we need to increase our deductibles if we want to continue funding HSAs. HSAs have become very popular among District employees. Therefore, we have informed Benefit Plan Administrators to amend our High Deductible Health Plan accordingly, to comply with modified regulations and to allow for continued funding of your HSA. Effective with claims incurred January 1, 2015 and after, the new $1300/$2600 deductibles will be applied. If you have any questions, please contact Brenda Musser at (715) 738-2660 extension 1901
