A Community Alive with Christ’s Compassionate Love HARVEST GATHERING St. Peter’s Lawn Sunday, September 18, Noon This year we are expanding our traditional fall picnic beyond good food, games and fellowship – all free – and invite our extended parish family to reconnect with each other and explore the wide variety of activities and missions that make up the St. Peter’s community. We offer a special invitation to those we may not know yet and may like to get to know us and our community. Through prayer and fellowship the St. Peter’s community fosters an environment that is both dynamic and growing and also provides stillness and reflection for a deeper understanding of ourselves and God in our lives. We welcome each and every individual - regardless of age, stage or status promising a place for you, where you can contribute and grow, wherever you are in life’s journey. Reach Out, Be Inspired, Get Connected, Join us on September 18th! A Reminder: Sunday School resumes on September 11 St. Peter's offers a developmentally appropriate, hands-on, education program for grades Pre-K through high school to nurture and support children and youth as they begin their journey of spiritual maturity. 9:30-10:15 AM – All are welcome any time.

Staff Ready For New Year At Norton School A Note From Norton Principal Mary Karas and Assistant Principal Kelly Grillo This year we are proud to welcome approximately 480 students to Norton School. It has been a busy summer. In addition to building projects, Norton teachers have had summer hours to prepare for the new school year. Two of our teachers are attending a weeklong training in responsive classroom strategies, as this is part of our Strategic Initiative.

To welcome our new families to the Norton community, we will have an orientation on Monday, Aug. 22, from 10 to 11 a.m. This is not for our first grade families, but for new families to give them the opportunity to learn more about our school and to have a tour. Our first grade families have orientation on Wednesday, Aug. 24, from 8:45 to 9:15 a.m. Students and their parents will meet their teachers for grade one and See EVENTS, page 12
