The number of skill-shortage vacancies has gone up by 43%. Britain hit by worst skills shortage for 30 years. Skills shortages are a direct result of the industry failing to invest in the future. Major companies and unions have warned that talent gaps across the sector - which many claim have been caused by a continuing decline in apprenticeships - are threatening the economy, just as it is starting to recover from the recession. More support needed for employers in attracting and retaining a more diverse talent pool to run the businesses of the future.

Securing Talent • What are YOUR options: – Do nothing / continue as you do now – Widen your focus – Grow your own • YOUR Business – YOUR Decision
