PARK AMENITIES

SISTER CITIES CAFÉ

This one-stop shop for coffee and takeaway fare is the perfect place for parents and kids to fuel up during a day of play.

FOUNTAIN & CHILDREN’S DISCOVERY GARDEN

The fountain at Sister Cities Park features 11 spouts, which represent Philadelphia’s Sister Cities around the globe. Inspired by Philadelphia’s Wissahickon Valley, the Children’s Discovery Garden’s winding pathways, scalable rocks and meandering stream provide a setting for discovery and imaginative play.

TUNNEL LOG (Late fall – Early spring)

The tunnel log is a feature that provides a natural play experience for kids. Rescued from the Fairmount Park Organic Recycling Center, children can explore the hollowed and smoothed out log, along with stepping stone rounds and a smaller climbing log.

FREE LITTLE LIBRARY

Kids and their parents are encouraged to borrow a book while visiting the park. This tiny, colorful display features titles best suited for toddler and preschool-age children.
