• Transfer Student: I’ve completed classes of any kind at a college or university after high school completion. Review our transfer process at COLUMBIASC.EDU/Transfer
• How to Apply
1. Visit COLUMBIASC.EDU/Apply to start your free application.
2. Request your unofficial or official transcript. Official transcripts are required before you attend your classes.

Alumni
Organized in 1882, the Columbia College Alumni Association is one of the oldest in the country, with approximately 15,000 members. Every semester, alums have opportunities to get involved with recruitment, mentoring, scholarships, hosting local events, campus activities, and more.
Today, 97% of graduates at Columbia College are hired or in graduate school within six months of graduating. In fact, nearly one in three students pursues a graduate degree. Columbia College is truly preparing students for the future.
The Columbia College Alumni Association wants graduates to feel supported long after they graduate. Connect with alumni at events, volunteer as a mentor, and refer quality students to attend. We are grateful to our loyal supporters who commit time and resources to impact Columbia College.
Know that once you graduate from #CCofSC, you’ll be among a network of invaluable friends and family that will always have an unbreakable Koala bond. To learn more about our Alumni Association, call 803.786.3765 or email CCAlum@ColumbiaSC.edu
STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: JALEEIA THOMPSON '23
Everything changed for Jaleeia Thompson when she was introduced to the “Cope and Connect” program, a peer-led counseling program overseen by the Office of Counseling Services.
Following an assignment in her Social Work class, Jaleeia wanted to start an initiative that would allow participants to express their feelings and give them a safe place to be “unapologetically themselves.” Jaleeia created a flyer with the idea and submitted it to be shared in the Koala Weekly newsletter. Before the flyer was published, it caught the attention of the Director of Counseling Services at Columbia College. The director, Hiluv Johnson, connected with Jaleeia, proposing instead a revamp of an existing program on campus called “Cope and Connect.”
The rest, as they say, is history! At “Cope and Connect,” Jaleeia regularly hosts small group discussions that give students a judgment-free zone to debrief and share, all while under the helpful eye of the College’s invaluable Counseling Services program. Students have greatly benefited from having an outlet to manage their stress and share their feelings with others who understand their struggles.
Because she believes that mental health significantly affects the college experience, Jaleeia added this valuable opportunity to her workload and ignited in herself a love for social work. Because of the College’s support and mentorship through the continuation of this program, Jaleeia plans to continue her education with a Master’s in Social Work after earning her undergraduate degree.
