Christian Paradis, Minister of International Development and Minister for La Francophonie. 4. Speaker Exposure Package (Includes Pck3) The Mining Indaba Investment Discovery Forum is a by-invitation-only program that will take place at the Westin Hotel from January 31 – February 1, 2014, in the days leading up to the 2014 Mining Indaba. The summit is positioned gather junior mining companies with African projects and top-tier global investors in a professional setting. The Investment Discovery Forum enables qualified investors to attend keynote and company presentation sessions that are organized by commodity type which followed by discussions on relevant market related topics across the mining value chain. This pre-conference format enables investors to utilize the main days of Mining Indaba on deal making knowing they have gone through an intense first-stage of deal discovery during the pre-conference forum. The Investment Discovery Forum is limited to 24 mineral exploration companies and their executives and is expected to attract 200-250 highly targeted and qualified professional investors. Canada Pavilion: IDF (Interactive Discussion Forum 2014 over a breakfast): The Interactive Discussion Forum 2014, brings together a panel of experts with a moderator, to discuss a theme that is topical for anyone with an interest in mining and mining-related issues. For the past 4 years, this Forum has sold out, with topics that included Corporate Social Responsibility, Mining, Infrastructure, and last year very popular, Political Risk Theme.
