VALTRANS XT60 THE NEW HIGH PERFORMANCE TRANSMISSION OIL FOR VALTRA TRACTORS Valtrans Transmission XT 60 is a new transmission oil, which is specially developed for the latest VERSU and DIRECT transmissions. XT 60 however, is recommended for many previous tractor transmissions, and as such ideal for all present and older Valtra models. Due to the high viscosity index and extreme shear stability, it is recommended to be used all year round in all climate conditions. Oils with a high viscosity index tend to shear (become thinner) in tough working conditions. Valtra Transmission XT60 contains new additives, ensuring an excellent shear resistance. Ville Suihkonen, one of Valtra’s product development engineers, advises. “The viscosity of the oil and as such its lubricating capability remains closer to the properties of new oil for the entire life span of the product — even when the oil is hot”.
