LMC $ELLABRATION II

SALE DEDICATION Dear LMC $ellabration II Guests, WELCOME to LMC $ellabration II. We are happy you are here and look forward to you participating in this great Simbrah weekend. We are very fortunate to have had so many of our clients and friends show up to help us with the execution of LMC $ellabration I which awarded over $43,000 in premiums to our juniors, raised over $22,000 for our family scholarships and marketed 160 plus State of the Art Simbrah and Simbravieh cattle all over the Simbrah World. We are dedicating this event to four great men who had a major impact on my life both as mentors and as very close friends. I had the privilege and honor of eulogizing all four of them within the past eight months. Dr. Lauro Guerra and Bud Wentz are the reason we are in Simbrah today. From my Tio Lauro, I learned the importance of compassion and a good work ethic as he was the hardest working man I have ever known. From Bud, I learned not to take life so seriously and to promote what you believe in. From my Tio Pablo Vela, I learned how to be a better salesman, how to take time to do things right the first time and to be proud of your work. From Jimmy Adair, I learned the importance of treating people with respect and that it is OK to play hard as long as you work hard. I am very fortunate to have been able to spend quality time with all of them. May God Bless them and their families. We welcome four new sponsors – Kelly Barnard, Darryl Caraveo, Mike England and Pete Nieschwietz. We are excited to be able to help our clients market their product. We are all sharing our best with you. This is truly one of the great cattle events of the year. We THANK YOU in advance for your support and hope that you enjoy your visit to La Muñeca. People are being blessed with rain, the cattle market is at an all time high, progressive cattlemen are selling their steer calves right off of the cows for $1,000 + dollars and commercial female replacement sales are averaging over $2,000. Good cowmen have always valued a good cow as being worth two good calves and are willing to pay 5 to 6 times what their good steer calves are bringing for their bulls. At the LMC $ellabration, we are selling both a darn good set of bulls and a great set of females that can go anywhere in the country and get the job done. Buy with confidence !! Please feel free to call on any of us if we can be of any assistance.

Su amigo,

Carlos X. Guerra

A Year in Review Life is good at La Muñeca. We have been blessed with our faith, good health, lots of opportunities, many great friends, some moisture and a loving family with some great grand-kiddos that we are blessed to see and love every day. They are all in school now and getting more and more involved in extra-curricular activities. Our only problem is fighting the toughest drought of our life. We have bought more hay and feed than ever. It will rain eventually. We are determined to stick it out. We have been blessed to have a lot of assistance from some good friends that have helped us with pastures – Elmer & Sean Lehmann from Kansas, and Nick Goodrich, Dean Fuchs and Chris Davlin from Texas. We have also had lots of help with hay from Cody Scogin, Jim Devlin, Donald Kelley and Sam Sparks. A SPECIAL THANKS goes out to Mike England for all of his assistance in helping us fight this drought. MIL GRACIAS to all of you. We hosted the STAR GALA II last January and just did STAR GALA III together with our great team of VOLUNTEERS and a hard working bunch of FFA and 4-H students that served more than 1,350 supporters and raised more than $260,000. This brings our three-year total to $710,000 raised for our STAR Premium Auction, which supports the 4-H and FFA students of Hidalgo County. A BIG HEARTY THANKS to everyone who has helped! 2012 was a very special show year for La Muñeca, starting off with a bang at the 2012 National Show winning National Reserve Grand Champion Bull with LMC 6G Red Rock. The National Champion was also co-produced by LMC and the Honeycutts and shown by the Barings and Honeycutts. Red Rock went on to win the International Championship and the Rio Grande Valley (RGV) Shows. The Villanueva family swept the Super Bowl with LMC LN Blackberry, who has won more than 30 Texas Club Calf Association (TCCA) Championships for her. The Reserve was a heifer they bred – Lady Antebellum – that also won many TCCA shows for her sired by LMC Johnnie Walker. Our POLLED Brahman cattle continue to show well with Winston Walters winning the super competitive San Antonio (SA) Open and Houston Junior Shows with LMC Polled Spice, who has won more than 20 championships now in both

open and junior shows and is in the running for American Brahman Breeders Association (ABBA) Show Cow of the Year. We also won the first major get of sire with all POLLED Brahmans at SA. They were sired by LMC LF Ambassador. LMC Polled Leader co-owned with Ken Abney won Reserve at the RGV Show. The POLLED Brahman market is growing world wide, and we are proud to be helping lead the way. More than 600 spirited Simbrah enthusiasts were in attendance at the inaugural LMC $ellabration Sale and $28,000 SHOW held March 23-24, 2012, at La Muñeca. This one-of-a-kind two-day event was dedicated to our forefathers, especially my great-grandmother Antonia who like so many still today came to this great country in 1873 as a widow looking for a better life for her three children. We were very fortunate to have so many of our clients and friends show up to help us with the execution of this great event, which awarded more than $43,000 in premiums to our juniors and raised more than $22,000 for our family scholarships. We marketed 163 lots plus State of the Art Simbrah and Simbravieh cattle for a $2,577 average to 69 buyers from five states and Mexico. Our annual LMC Annual Jackpot show held in conjunction with the $ellabration was a big success with our junior clients being awarded $18,000 in premiums, onehalf of which was awarded in showmanship. May is always rewarding because of the many high school graduates that I get to interview and award scholarships to at several high schools and junior organizations. I was also honored to be the commencement speaker at the San Isidro High School graduation. I encourage all of you to get more involved in scholarship programs as they enrich your lives and the lives of many juniors. Marketing American Simbrah (MAS) VII was another great event with 13 members selling 66 lots for a $3,158 average, bringing the gross MAS sales to $2,743,213. It was a breed first, being an allvideo sale and indoors at the RGV show grounds. The whole week was fantastic having combined two great Simbrah events: the American Jr. Simbrah Round Up and MAS. An LMC bred heifer once again won grand at MAS for the seventh year in a row, with Bailey Scogin winning with LMC Guardian Angel. Victor Moreno won Reserve with his LMC HS Rocco daughter making it six of seven Reserves for LMC bred heifers. LMC steers once again did very well at the South Texs Agricultural Roundup (STAR) Continued on page 4

Donation Lots (A Year In Review, continued from page 3) MAS Steer show winning both spots again for the seventh straight year, with Liana Flores and Victoria Villanueva getting the job done. Our 25th Annual Jr. Round & LMC Futurity was a big success with a great set of sponsors, volunteers, speakers, cattle and, most important, our kiddos. It seems like just yesterday that we were planning the very first one. It is neat to see the children of the children who participated back then be the ones participating now. We encourage more of you to host field days. They are good for many reasons – from making you clean your ranch, to getting people there that might never have visited your ranch, to creating good will for your business to helping to educate kiddos or other commercial and/or registered breeders depending on the nature of the field day.

Synergy V was another big success thanks to Tim Smith, his family, staff, sponsors and many volunteers. The sale grossed more than one million dollars! Bailey Scogin won Champion with LMC Guardian Angel, and Cameron Chappell won reserve in the purebred show with RGV LMC Dr. Beauty. LMC has sponsored eight of the 10 SYNERGY champions and are very proud of our LMC Juniors. We also sponsored the Champion percentage heifer shown by Adriana de los Santos. All of the cattle sold well even though we were in a major drought. In December 2012 we had our 30th Annual Cook Off, which Sister and I manage. It was a big time success with thousands of people enjoying some great South Texas hospitality. This is a great community event that raises money for our school, church, scholarship endowment, volunteer fire department, 4-H and little league – ALL DONE BY VOLUNTEERS. We must all THANK THE LORD that we live in this great country and for the opportunity to work with these great cattle and people. Let’s hope and pray that 2013 will be a wet one and that the cattle market will say strong. MAY GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Victor, Arcadio, Rafael A. & Carmen Guerra Family Scholarship Donation Lots 100% of the proceeds will be donated It has been a tradition here at all auctions held at La Muñeca to kick off our sales with donation lots for special causes. We are proud and grateful to all of the donors, bidders and buyers who have helped us raise more than $286,500 for scholarships and other charities in our previous six MAS and $ellabration auctions held here at La Muñeca. The Rafael A. Guerra Family awarded $54,000 in scholarships last May to 44 graduating seniors from Edinburg North (Brewster School), San Isidro, Edinburg FFA, South Texas Agriculture Roundup (STAR) and the Texas Junior Simmental/Simbrah Association (TJSSA) in the names of Victor, Arcadio, Rafael and Carmen Guerra. Our grandfather Arcadio, our Tio Arcadio and our dad always helped local students to get through college. Our grandfather Arcadio made and ran a school for the ranch children in the early days of La Reforma Ranch. They all knew that education was the key to success. We started the Victor A. Guerra Memorial Scholarship Fund at our first sale in the fall of 1979, shortly after Victor’s death. My little brother Gerry and I donated a Red Brahman heifer that Victor had shown that year. The three of us had bought some registered Red Brahman cattle under the name

of La Muñeca Cattle Co. Our good friend, Dr. Lee McKellar, bought her for $4,500, added $500, and Dad matched it to kickoff the fund with Carmen & Rafael Guerra $10,000. The Arcadio Guerra Scholarship was started in 2000, the Rafael A. Guerra Scholarship was started in 2006, and the Carmen Guerra Scholarship was started in 2008. Our family is proud to have awarded more than $750,000 since 1979 to good students from throughout Texas, all of which have an agricultural background or are from our Linn San Manuel or San Isidro/La Reforma communities. They each fill out an application and go through a 30-minute interview. We salute and congratulate all previous scholarship winners. This could not have happened if it were not for the tremendous support we have received from so many generous friends through their donations of money, time and genetics. A BIG HEARTY THANKS goes out to the donors and buyers of the following lots and also to the LMC $ellabration for allowing us to continue this great tradition here.

Three units of LMC EF JW Black semen. We have very little semen left on this great bull that breeds the best front- and rear-end combinations in the breed. He is the sire to such breed greats as LMC Johnnie Walker, LMC Miss Diva, LMC VG Go Getter, LMC Topanga and so many more. This bull produced more great ones per cow exposed than any bull we have ever used. You can flush more than one cow now with just one unit using IVF so study your lesson and breed you some great JW Blacks. This opportunity may never come again. The Hagans produced more than 60 fertilized embryos with one unit of JW semen that they bought here last year for $1,500 per unit.

The Carlos X. Guerra family is again donating a two-day guided Trophy Whitetail Buck Hunt for one hunter and one guest on the Guerra Bros. El Tule Ranch for the 2013-2014 season. The buyer can also come back during the year for a weekend nalgai hunt. The camp along with some choice rib eyes courtesy of the Luis Flores Family will be available. This is a great gift for the man that has everything or for a father-son/daughter weekend. These hunts are averaging $6,000+ and are lots of fun. Here is a letter from a repeat hunter – Tom Zulim.

Nicholas and Elisa (Tom and Laura Zulim’s grandkids) had their best ever hunting experience last year on their successful MAS V whitetail hunt at El Tule Ranch. It was a first time whitetail hunt for both of them. Elisa scored with a beautifully symmetrical 10-point buck that scored 128-3/8. Nicholas, charmed young man that he is, scored a new El Tule Ranch record with a monster 17-point buck that scored a whopping 178-7/8. In addition to the unbelievable whitetail deer, the accommodations at the hunting camp were great, the food was fabulous (thanks Tony!), the guides were wonderful (thanks Art!), the hunting country at the ranch was fantastic, and the kids saw lots of high-quality whitetail deer and other wildlife. The warm hospitality and friendship of the La Muñeca Ranch staff and the entire Guerra family was simply the best. It was a great experience that was made even better by the fact that all of the proceeds from the hunts went to more scholarships; it was again worth every penny and more. Thank you Don Carlos and Family for Elisa’s and Nicholas’ truly wonderful experience.

Semen 12-Pack Donated by: Carlos X. Guerra Family

Darryl Caraveo The reason that I like doing business with La Muñeca is that it has given me the opportunity to make one of my biggest dreams come true – to own a major champion herd bull like LMC 6G Red Rock, who won Houston last year. He is my favorite LMC animal. It has allowed me to meet and make many new friends who share the same appreciation for good cattle that I do. I like doing business with the Guerras, because they treat me like part of the family and offer the finest in service.

We're in the

BULL BUSINESS!

The main reason for there being registered cattle is to provide the COMMERCIAL COWMAN with superior genetics with which to improve his product of producing the best beef and beef factories. We were brought up on a commercial ranch and understand the importance of the COMMERCIAL COWMAN. We raise Simbrah, Simbravieh and Polled Brahman bulls and sell them on a daily basis. We take this responsibility very serious, try to offer the best bulls of all three breeds and most important stand behind our bulls. We also sell our share of herd bulls to other breeders who come to La Muneca because they know they are buying sons of the Power Bulls of the Breeds with State of the Art pedigrees. Our Simbrah bulls have dominated the International Show for many years and just recently our Lot 4 LMC Gold Medal was crowned National Champion at 11 months of age proving that these cattle are built right, breed right and can compete in all arenas. We THANK all of our past bull buyers and always WELCOME new business. Below are a few of our recent bull sales.

Our good friend and repeat herd bull buyer Kelly Barnard from Kansas recently invested in LMC Polled Datapack sired by LMC WFF Pistolero.

Our good friends & repeat herd bull buyers Dennis & Ann Kelley from Oklahoma recently invested in LMC LF Polled Diplomat & Polled Esto.

MIL GRACIAS to our ole compadre Mike England for investing in this Ambassador son and for all he has done to help us fight this drought.

MIL GRACIAS to our amigo & repeat buyer Hernando Guerra, big time exporter of Simbrah bulls to Mexico for investing in the many times champion LMC Soldier.

Newt Huffman, Louie Flores & Victor Guerra recently invested in the great young Pappadeaux. Thanks to them and to all breeding share investors.

THANKS to all of the breeding share investors of the LNLMC 12th Man, the 2012 National Champion % bull – Rajin Cajun x Mariah’s Dream.

LMC BBS recently sold to Mossy Creek Ranch, a new Simbrah breeder from Georgia. He is an LMC Black Perfecto out of Jennie Walker.

LMC Urban Cowboy is a Rocco son purchased by Fred Grahmann who has bought cattle from LMC every year since1986. MIL GRACIAS AMIGOS!!

LMC Red Dream is a son of the great Lot 1 bull and a full sib to LMC Miss Diva. We are excited to see Heidi Poppe showing this top prospect.

LMC Cobra is a Dr. Feel Good out of a Black Perfecto that sold to our ole buddy and repeat buyer Justin Campbell.

LMC Red Wave Amigo is a Wave Amigo (Lot 39) out of a Full House that sold to our good friend & repeat buyer Jorge Urriegas from Mexico.

If you came to the sale to buy a tremendous herd bull, you do not need to turn the page! Dream Up is a proven champion and a proven herd bull that is destined to have a positive impact on the Simbrah breed. He has been a standout since he was a baby calf; at just five months of age, he was named Reserve Calf Champion at the International Show in Houston. Dream Up is as thick as you can make one and is loaded with bone and muscle. He is very correct and big footed. Combine that with exceptional depth of body, his excellent hip design and long, smooth front end and you’ve got the complete package. Add the pedigree and the good looking calves that he has sired so far and you can see why we are so high on this young BREED CHANGER. Dream Up is sired by the popular Hagan’s Ante Up, who is now owned by and doing a great job for Gumaro Valdez in Mexico. We believe that Dream Up is the best bull that has been sired by the great Ante Up. In addition, to Dream Up, Ante Up also sired several other champions including the many times champion RGV Foxie. To go further back, Ante Up is sired by the influential Sargeant, who has written his own page in the Simbrah book. He was bred by Neumann Farms and promoted by Smith Genetics, who has produced some of the breed’s most functional females sired by Sargeant. The dam of Ante Up is the many times champion 4G N50, who will go down as one of the all time greats. She is the MATRIARCH of the elite Hagan Cattle Co. Simbrah herd.

Dream Up’s dam is the outstanding LMC Mariah’s Dream 3S/325 cow, also known as Delilah. Although we really liked her as a calf, we knew that Delilah was destined for greatness when her first calf was the quality of Dream Up. Delilah is sired by the most dominant Simmental bull in the breed for the last several years, CNS Dream On. On the bottom side, she is out of Super Bowl Champion LMC Victor’s Mariah, who has also produced her share of great ones – the $20,000 major champion LMC Ocho and LMC Hero to mention a couple. After Dream Up, Mariah has gone on to produce the many times supreme champion LMC LN Blackberry, who Victoria Villanueva has been campaigning for the past year winning over 30 TCCA Championships with her. If there was a show heifer of the year in Simbrah, Blackberry would sure be a top contender. Delilah has also produced LMC LN Nilla, who was purchased by Andrew Cano, and her latest calf is the up and coming National Percentage Champion LN LMC 12th Man. Don’t miss the chance to get in on a young proven Simbrah great! These kinds of opportunities do not come around very often. Be sure to study the show prospects sired by Dream Up that are being consigned by La Negra. They are just an example of the caliber of calves that Dream Up will produce. He is a sound, aggressive breeder and has many years ahead of him – not to mention the potential semen sale opportunities both domestic and foreign. Dream Up sells with 50 units of semen as an insurance until the new owner can collect him. His API Index is in the top 10% of the breed.

If you are looking for a proven herd bull that can add color, pedigree clout and clean up the underline on your next calf crop, then LMC Suave is your bull. He is sired by the 2005 International Champion LMC RFI Smith Red Bullet, who has registered over 225 calves in the ASA. His sire, HR Powerhouse won the International Show twice and then sired the next four winners, three of which were bred by LMC and/or LMC & associates. His dam is the famous LM She Moves that is the dam to two International Champions and one reserve, plus the famous Morning Star cow that has left her legacy as one of QUALITY. We sold her at SYNERGY II to Tim Smith for $21,000, and he claims that she is one of the very best investments he has ever made. She is still going strong at 13 and is one of his top donors. Bailey Scogin is showing a paternal sister to Suave, named LMC Guardian Angel, that has already won MAS VII and SYNERGY V, which is a first for the breed, and has still has one year to show. She has put $6,000 in her college fund. The Red Bullet genetics work! Look at his super thick and long daughter that we sold our ole compadre Fred Grahmann at MAS VII. That is the kind that you can depend on that Suave will produce for you. We sold a paternal brother to Suave that topped MAS II to Hernando Guerra, who then leased the bull to Semex, which has sold thousands of units of semen to over a dozen countries. Some of our best cows are Red Bullet daughters. Suave’s maternal side reads Titan, Monopoly and Money – all three major league sires that made a big time impact on our program and the Simbrah breed. Titan is a grandson of the famous Jetliner cow, one of the best Simmy cows to ever live. Monopoly was International Champion out of the International Champion Southern Comfort, and Money produced us lots of super functional cattle out of our ¼ x ¾ base herd that we bred up from our Brahman herd. We sold half of Suave in MAS IV to Expectra Stud from South Africa, which has done him a darn good job. You are buying all of the bull today with a semen bank of 100 units of semen. Do not miss him! New buyer can not sell semen in South Africa.

LMC ATZ Red Hot is another solid red baldy bull that comes from some of our most productive, competitive and profitable genetics. He is sired the famous LMC JW Black who has produced as many champions as any bull in the history of the breed. JW Black can be depended upon to produce heavy muscled cattle with big rear ends, exquisite front ends and clean underlines that add value to your cattle. Red Hot’s dam is a Red Bullet daughter that is a grand-daughter of our HERD MATRIARCH – LM 3E-89, who produced over 90 calves that all sold for a premium. She produced three major champion bulls – Full House, Road House and Gig’em. In 3E-89 and She Moves you have two of the strongest cow families in the breed. Red Hot’s littermate is the 2009 Reserve National Champion bull LMC ATZ Dr. Feel Good that has done an awesome job of producing competitive, easy-to-market progeny. We sold over 25 daughters as show heifers in one year out of him, one of which is the 2012 Super Bowl Champ LMC LN Blackberry that has won over 30 TCCA Shows for Victoria Villanueva. He also sired LMC Arcadio, the 2011 National Champion bull. Their full sister, LMC ATZ Miley, won back to back SYNERGY Shows, which had never happened for Jane Cook and put $6,000 in her college fund. We sold half of Red Hot to our good friends, the Randy Barba family. We are selling this good looking, proven herd sire because the Barbas are going to an AI program and the drought is making us reduce our herd. He will add bone, growth, performance, color and breed character to your program.

LMC Gold Medal is the highest performing bull calf we have ever had born at La Muñeca. He weighed 1,250 at 10 ½ months. He is bred in the purple, being sired by the 2011 International Champion and Reserve National Champion bull LMC Rhino. Rhino is sired by the 2004 International Champion LM Full House, both of which have done us a great job and are considered BEEF MACHINES, just like Gold Medal. His dam is the famous LMC WFC Dream Girl cow that in our opinion is the best female ever made in Simbrah. She was not shown that much by Jordan Grahmann, but he won over $20,000 with her. She was the 2009 National Champion, International Champion plus won the super tough Houston Junior Show and the $10,000 at San Antonio. She sold for a breed record $42,000 at MAS VI to BETM, 6G, Louie Flores and La Muñeca. Her first two daughters by Gig’em averaged $15,500, both selling to BETM. Her first three sons by Gig’em and Rocco have averaged $9,233 selling to Dean Galbraith, Darryl Caraveo and Boening Bros. The Wentz family just dispersed their cow herd built around this cow family for record prices at SYNERGY V grossing over $290,000 with LMC Oprah ($35,000) and LMC Miss Diva ($20,000) and their progeny with most of these genetics selling to Southwestern Farms and Smith Genetics. We can expect more goodness from these genes in the future. Those two cows are Dream Girls maternal grand dam and dam. ECONOMIC and GENETIC PROGRESSION is what these genetics offer you!

Lot 4's dam The one and only Dream Girl

Lot 4's maternal great-granddam The $35,000 LMC Oprah

We believe in generation turn over, as this is what has made the Simmental breed so progressive since day one. As young as Rocco and Rhino are, thanks to Dream Girl, we already have sons that should be better than them. We are excited to have LMC 6G Red Rock, the 2012 International Champion out on our cows now and look forward to collecting LMC Gold Medal right after Houston. When you study the mass, bone, length, good looks, numbers and power of Gold Medal, you can appreciate how much Simbrah has improved. His pedigree is the Who’s Who of Simbrah with Smith Nu Wave II, Spectrum, LMC EF JW Black, HR Powerhouse, RX Becherovka, 6G LMC Knockout, LMC Money, LMC Rhino, LM Full House, RAB Polled Redeye “Rob” and NLC Tomcat. WOW! He will be shown at the National Show in San Antonio, Houston and maybe be the RGV Show. Great bulls are backed by great individuals with great pedigrees, performance and production. Gold Medal has it all. The semen selling today will be the only semen to sell on this bull for the next year. Get in on the ground floor of what may very well be the breed’s next SUPERSTAR. You cannot win more than the Gold Medal unless you produce lots of little Gold Medals. His API Index is in the top 4 percent of the breed! Make sure to evaluate his two BABY DOLL full sisters selling as Lots 92 and 93, who are both super fancy show and donor prospects that offer you genetic lead time in the next generation of the famous Dream Girl Cow Family. They both qualify for the LMC $100,000 junior program benefits. THEY ARE THE MONEY MAKING KIND!

I saw several solid colored 3/8 x 5/8 females at Ronnie’s this past summer that are going to make him a great set of foundation Simbrah females, kinda like the ones Kelly Barnard is selling as Lots 80 - 84. This is how we built our Simbrah herd except that we bred our Red Brahman cows to F-1 bulls and then back to a Simmy to produce purebred Simbrah, which you can also do by breeding Brahman to a purebred Simbrah and then breed those to a Simmy.

Polled Rico is sired by LMC Polled Maestro that we own with our ole buddy Ricky Butler from Okahoma. We own four full sisters to Polled Maestro, and they are all darn good cows. Rico’s dam is a cherry red La Negra cow – LN Margarita that raised over $25,000 in her first four calves with three full sisters by Ambassador selling to Kelly Barnard. One of them is the dam to the super Lot 84 BABY DOLL. We recently sold half of Margarita back to Javi, and she is now in our donor herd being bred to produce state of the art Red Brahmans. Her two grand sires are the Register of Renown HK Millionnaire and HK Mr. American 730/7, the sire to our Register of Renown Bravo. That is as good as it gets. LMC JOHNNIE WALKER 5R179 MR BOR PAYDAY Sire: LMC LF BRAVEHEART T195 Dam: LMC PD Muñeca U40 FG BESS ET LMC SHANIA S11 Fidelity is a multi-generation Simbravieh sired by our Braveheart bull who is winning the respect of good cowmen who have been able to see Braveheart calves. They are built right and are loaded with muscle, bone, color and pigment. Braveheart is sired by the many times champion and International Champion LMC Johnnie Walker and is out of the famous Braunvieh donor FG Bess, who is also the dam to the great WTR Baylee cow. Fidelity’s dam is ¼ Angus, being sired by the BOR Payday bull, who sired many good calves for us and Rafter M, starting with the litter that this cow came out of which produced several real good cows and a champion steer. The next cow or maternal granddam is the powerful LMC Shania, who was the pick of ten full sisters, all of which are still in our herd. Her dam is the super fertile LMC 5H-144 that produced 72 No. 1 embryos in her first flush and averaged 43 in her first four flushes. We originally sold half of Fidelity to our good friend Jorge Delgado, who was born in Cuba and is trying to do all he can to help his home country from infrastructure to leadership to genetics, but it is going to take longer than anticipated so we decided to sell the bull. He is good, has all the right stuff and is ready to go to work for you.

Y2 is a super long, chocolate F-1 Simbravieh bull being sired by LMC Polled Tommy, who was a very beefy polled Brahman herd bull that we sold our good friend Lonnie Tomerlin, because he wants to raise some darn good Brahman influenced Simbraviehs. Polled Tommy is out of our Pistolero bull that we sell semen on all over the Brahman world and a V8 “Tomcat” daughter that is a herd bull producer and the dam to the Lot 24 bull. On the maternal side, Y2’s dam is sired by our “Polled Lightning,” who was the best looking black Braunvieh bull I ever saw. Y3 is a light red F-1 Simbravieh with an extra touch of Brahman blood that is a paternal brother to the Lot 37 bull, both being sired by the LMC Polled Tommy bull who, as you can see in the photo, is A BEEF MACHINE. Y3’s dam is sired by our Blacksmith bull who was another super long BRAUNVIEH BEEF MACHINE that worked very well on our Simbrah cows. When we wrote the rules on how to register Simbravieh, we allowed enough variation to allow breeders like Lontina to produce cattle with more or less ear depending on their environment. These bulls with more ear will sure do better in our drought and semi-arid conditions plus breed more cows, which is good for your bottom line. Add the hybrid vigor from introducing a drop of Braunvieh blood and I feel confident you will want to buy more bulls like these once you see the calves.

We are excited to have bought LMC WFC Wave Amigo at SYNERGY V. We want to share him with our Simbrah friends through the sale of breeding shares. Wave Amigo 5U/58 offers the TOTAL package and can put your program on the map. He is proven, prolific and powerful. He is a full sib to the popular, National and International Champion $42,000 LMC WFC Dream Girl, whose calves are averaging over $15,000. She is the dam to LMC 6G Red Rock, the 2012 International Champion bull. Another full sister to Wave Amigo, LMC WFC Rita recently sold at SYNERGY V for $25,000. Their dam, LMC Miss Diva, sold for $20,000, and her dam LMC Oprah sold for $35,000 to Southwestern Farms and Smith Genetics. Wave Amigo is the most popular, productive and proven black son of the great Smith Nu Wave II. As you can see in his photo and will see on sale day, HE NEARS PERFECTION IN THE FLESH. He has produced several high-dollar show heifers and show steers. Louie & LMC sold a Baby Doll daughter to Ruben Garcia for $10,000 in MAS VI. LMC recently sold 20 Wave Amigo show prospects right off the cows for a $3,200 average to Aaron Saenz, Abigail Alejandro, Mia Barba, Emma Berry, Nicole Stevenson, Joe Seale, Tanner Feldhoff, Kevin Koehl, Brody and Lorelai Hill, Yulisa Santana, Joseph Falcon, Manny Gonzales, Cameron Robles, Andres, Victoria Villanueva, Christyn-Jo Carranza, Tristan Chapa-Gonzalez, Sophia Palmore, and Amelia Stavinoha. Wave Amio consistently produces very correct, functional cattle with clean underlines. Dawson Raub showed a son that he raised out of his LMC show heifer and won Grand Champion at the LMC $ellabration Bull Show, which he sold to La Morra for $3,200. He also bred the Reserve Champion, another Wave Amigo son that sold for $4,500 to James Watson at the LMC $ellabration sale. I’d say that young man is in the bull business and pretty darn good at it. He more than paid for the breeding share he had bought from Louie and LMC. That is the kind of herd bull a progressive breeder should be looking for. One calf should pay for what you pay for this breeding share today. His API Index is in the top 8 percent of the breed. Come see us while down for the $ellabration. LMC TITAN F33 Dam: LMC TITANS Muñeca 5H/367 GB BRAVOS Muñeca 1W9-11

It sure hurts to offer LN Sofia for sale! We purchased LMC Sophie 5H/367, Sofia’s dam, at one of the first MAS sales because we felt she was one of the all time great Simbrah females and thought it was a sound investment. Sophie more than paid for herself with the first calf she produced for us, which was LN Sofia. Sofia is the kind of donor that you can build a herd around; she is thick, deep sided, angular, smooth fronted and polled – not to mention that her pedigree reads like a Who’s Who of the Simbrah breed. She is sired by the great Johnny Walker, who has already produced his share of great ones that include numerous champions. On the dam’s side Sofia is out of the proven donor LMC Sophie, who was herself many-times champion for the Baring family. Like Johnny Walker, Sophie has also produced her share of champions such as LMC Gorgeous, LMC Miss Texas, LMC Black Perfecto and our very own donor LMC Sophie’s Eyes. Opportunities to purchase young donors of this quality don’t come around very often; it is only because of an extreme circumstance like the drought endured for the last two years that we decided to sell two of our top donors. Sofia has proven to produce top-quality show calves such as LN Jade, who we sold to TC and Ana Betancourt, and LN Russo, who we sold to Kansas. Sofia has produced well in our ET program, and we are retaining a small bank of frozen embryos. Sofia sells exposed to Dream Up from 1/15/13 to 3/15/13. The new buyer will also receive four units of semen on any of our herd bulls to flush her to. This offer includes the International Champion Cowboy Casanova and the National Champion 12th Man.

It is only because of our continued efforts to flush and build our herd around LMC Mariah’s Dream 3S/325 (also known as Delilah) that we have decided to consign her full sister, Dream, to this sale. We fell in love with Delilah the first time we saw her, and her production thus far has certainly not disappointed us. Delilah has produced an International Reserve Calf Champion, Dream Up, who sells as Lot 1, the many-time Supreme Champion Blackberry, and a National Champion in 12th Man. When La Muñeca consigned Dream to MAS V, we just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to purchase a full sister to our great Delilah. Just like Delilah, we feel that Dream has done a great job with the first heifer calf she produced, which we are going to keep in our herd. Dream has pedigree clout, moderation, length, performance and angularity, which are all ingredients for a potential donor. In addition, she is as sound moving a cow as you will ever see. She travels with ease and covers her track every time, which is something that all herds and genetic bases can benefit from. Add to that the production record of her parents and the fact that her API Index is in the top one percent of the breed! Her sire, Dream On, is the most popular and productive Simmental for the last several years. Mariah is one of the all time greats and is also the dam to Ocho, 6G’s Overload donor, and to Delilah. 100 percent sells. Dream sells exposed to 12th Man from 12/15/2012 to 1/5/2013 and to Dream Up from 1/15/2013 to 3/15/2013. The new buyer will also receive four units of semen on any of our herd bulls to flush her to. THE LMC

$ELLABRATION II

La Muñeca has always been a leader in creating new events and organizations to enhance the growth of the breed plus create opportunities for our breeders and our youth. We just celebrated our 25th Annual Jr. Round Up & Futurity in 2012. We celebrated our 21st Super Bowl, an event we co-created. We were the driving force in starting the first Simbrah Steer Show ever at the Rio Grande Valley (RGV) show in the early 1990s. It took awhile but we got them started at the Houston and San Antonio (SA) shows also. We started the American Jr. Round Up, Marketing American Simbrah (MAS) and have been founding members of the Simbrah Celebration, International Simbrah Congress and SYNERGY. We started the ball rolling for South Texas Agricultural Roundup (STAR) and the STAR Gala. We are now helping to start the RGV Brahman and F-1 Association which has big plans for its members. When you add all of these events up and the monies they have created in sales and premiums for juniors, one can only look back with pride and smile knowing that we have made a difference. The best is yet to come. In an effort to assist our LMC clients to market their product, LMC has created the LMC $ellabration that will be held once a year at La Muñeca.

It will showcase LMC genetics from our clients and LMC. We will have our LMC Jackpot show, the LMC $ellabration show and the $ellabration Sale that will be our annual sale. The LMC $ellabration Sale and $20,000 Junior Show is designed to assist those clients who support us with minimum purchases of $5,000 over the previous two years and are invited by LMC. Annual dues are $1,000, all of which go to the juniors that show at the LMC $ellabration show. Every Simbrah, Simbravieh, Braunvieh or Brahman that a member produces out of a La Muñeca cow or bull qualifies for the LMC $ellabration junior heifer and bull shows. Two or more of these same cattle, depending on the numbers that year, qualify for the LMC $ellabration Sale. The LMC Jackpot will also be held this weekend. It is funded by LMC putting up 10 percent of what each heifer that shows up sold for. One half of the monies will be awarded in showmanship as we have always felt that everyone should have an equal shot at the premium money. The average Jackpot has been $10,000 for the past several years. Last year it was $18,000. Come early and enjoy both shows. LMC kids get to show four times. The shows are exciting and the competition is fierce.

Phenotypically appealing females that are backed by championship genetics in a very functional and productive package. This LMC Rajin Cajun daughter is out of Jordan’s first 6GLMC Knockout show heifer, Showtime! Her dam, Showtime, and maternal grand dam from Ronnie Smith have been two of the most productive females in our herd. Udder quality, milking ability, fleshing ability and longevity have characterized this cow family! The maternal grand dam left our herd at the age of 15 after producing nothing but front pasture females! Her mother is one of three Black Cat-sired females that have been in the herd for years, and they have served as a foundation for our ¾ blood cattle. 5Y/130 will be no different in terms of her moderation and longevity with udder quality that will hold up to the test of time! Kallie Fuchs led Whitney to championships at the LMC Futurity and San Angelo Jr. Show, among numerous others during her show career. We bought out Wentz, La Muñeca, Victor Guerra and Kallie Fuchs after her show career, because we were confident Whitney had what it took to make a difference in our program and she most certainly has. We are meticulous about assembling our elite herd, investing in only the best Simbrah has to offer, and Whitney fit the bill. The LMC Soldier bull won numerous championships just like his sire PRR Red Ammo did, including Reserve Grand at the 2009 International, San Antonio and Rio Grande Valley Livestock Shows. He recently was a high seller at $14,000 in $ellabration I selling to Hernando Guerra of Mexico, proving Whitney’s bloodline has world-wide appeal. Whitney’s maternal sister is the many-times major champion LMC WFC Dream Lot 65's sire Girl that sold for $42,000 at MAS VI. Another maternal sister LMC WFC Rita sold for $25,000 for the many times champion LMC Soldier the Atzenhoffer’s to Bud Wentz. Whitney’s dam, Diva recently sold for $20,000 at Synergy V and is arguably one of the best cows in the breed today. Whitney has done us a great job in our embryo transfer program and has been a consistent volume embryo producer. We recently flushed her twice to Smith Nu Wave II and produced 40 embryos (26 and then 14) which we have recently implanted. We sold a Whitney daughter out of Nu Wave II in Synergy V for $5,750 to Smith Genetics and McCrary Farms, plus have kept a few daughters to build off of in our herd. The decision to sell Whitney has not been an easy one, because she has the look and pedigree that fits right in here at Smith Farms, but we believe in generation turnover and have retained enough of her influence to go into the future with. Just like we like to buy the best, we know others like to have the opportunity to do the same, and we are confident that we are offering you a bona fide donor right here in Whitney. This young donor can put you at the forefront of the Simbrah breed and be a productive donor for you, because she has done the same for us. She sells safe in calf to Smith Nu Wave II, and we will provide the buyer with two units of Nu Wave II or Sargeant semen for them to AI this cow.

Full sister to Lot 65 Pick of litter. She is owned by McCrary & Smith Genetics.

We are selling 100% of the Pick of the Litter of 30 embryos sired by the great Smith Nu Wave II, to be born this fall. This will replace the sale of Lot 65, due to her getting injured. This will also be one of the best investments to be made in Simbrah this year!

In doing so, we bought a daughter out of the Triple Crown Winner LM Full House and the gorgeous LM She Moves donor from Pine Ridge Ranch. The She Moves cow first sold for $6,200 for half interest in a 4G-LMC Fiesta Sale and later for $21,000 at Synergy to Smith Genetics for full interest and amazes me every time I see her on how well she has maintained her youthful appearance at the age of 12. She Moves has produced several great cattle including International Champion Bulls LMC RFI-Smith Red Bullet, Black Bullet and PRR Morning Star, who has produced major champions herself. The Full House bull sired lots of great cattle for La Muñeca, including the 2011 International Champion Bull LMC Rhino and the MAS II Grand Champion Female LMC Miss Texas. Full House has sold thousands of dollars in progeny and semen worldwide. 125Z’s dam is a gorgeous red cow and one of our very best here at Smith Farms, and we believe we have a lot of great cows so we hold her in high regard. In the last 10 years there has not been a Simmental bull that has had the influence that Dream On has had, and that is why we chose to mate him to one of our very best. This female is beautiful and puts together a lot of the traits we like to see here at the ranch, but we promised Carlos that we would consign some of our very best so here she is. This heifer has the phenotype and genetic makeup to make you a future donor, so mark her down in your catalog and come see her on sale day. The Aficionado Trait: BW WW YW MM MW API($) TI($) bull is sired by the LMC EF JW Black bull that sired the likes of LMC Miss Diva, LMC HS E PD: 4.9 55.3 75.4 23.7 51.3 62.9 42.4 Rocco and LMC ATZ Dr. Feel Good. Aficionado’s dam is the LMC Daisy donor that goes back to the 5H/144 cow that produced more than 70 Grade 1 embryos in one flush – lots of fertility and big names in this bloodline. We have a commitment to sharing our best at MAS, Synergy and here at the $ellabration, which is why we pulled Tara from the heart of our keepers to share with you today. Tara’s softness and breed character should be an asset to any herd and create more interest for your operation. Sweetie’s dam LMC Cruel Girl, who is a former champion for Liana Flores and a productive mama cow, is certainly one of them. There probably has not been as dominant of a sire since the days of the famous Lot 85's dam Signal bull. The Dream On’s work on Simbrahs as can be seen with the Lot I bull and these young baby dolls. Main Dream’s dam was bred by Tommy Schwertner and was a many-time champion for the Popp’s sired by the twice Houston Champ HR Powerhouse. We do not have photos the heifers, but will show their dams instead. They will have good numbers with Dream On as their grandsire. Breed these heifers to a Simmy bull and you will produce your share of tomorrow’s top selling NEW BLOOD Simbrahs. These heifers will produce into their late teens if you take good care of them. They will also make good club calf producers being black and having 5/8 Brahman blood. Lot 85’s dam is a polled V8 cow sired by their polled/scurred MR V8 51/6 who has been used all over the Brahman world and is a beef machine. Her maternal grandsire is one of the more popular and widely used V8 bulls of recent times that produces very functional females. We do not breed cattle to be the largest in the breed nor to have extreme numbers in any one trait. We come from a commercial background that has always disciplined us to breed moderate, functional cattle with above average numbers that can travel, have good dispositions, plenty of bone and muscle, honest birthdates and honest pedigrees. The COMMERCIAL COWMAN and judges appreciate that. We have been fortunate to have bred our share of champions in all of the breeds we have been involved with using this philosophy and plan to keep doing the same for many more years.

LM FULL HOUSE 5L/133 SMITH NU WAVE II Sire: LMC RHINO 5W/367 Dam: LMC WFC MS. DREAM GIRL LMC SAMBOS Muñeca 3K/41 LMC MISS DIVA When the history book is written on the Simbrah breed, it will be almost impossible to find a cow family that has created the GOOD WILL, SYNERGY and ECONOMIC PROGRESSION that the Dream Girl family has generated. Every member of this cow family has been very good going back to the F-1 cow we bought from the Lundgrens in the 80’s, but the engine today and what connected this family to fame is Dream Girl. She is a one-of-a-kind and once in a generation kind of female. LMC M9, Oprah, Miss Diva, Dream Girl and Rita have all been bred and born here at La Muneca. They have all sold in our MAS Sales from $3,500 to $10,500. THANKS to the success of Dream Girl and the consistent production of all of these cattle for all who have owned them from La Morra, the Grahmanns, the Hunts & Atzenhoffers, the Wentz's and now Tim Smith and Ray Hill, they have all resold from $20,000 to $42,000 with the best yet to come. LMC Gold Medal - the next generation was just crowned the 2013 National Champion bull (Lot 4). These cattle will put you on the map. We believe the many times major champion and $42,000 Dream Girl cow is the best ever produced in Simbrah and feel she earns this distinction not only by her phenotype, but by her production record as well. To-date, Dream Girl has produced a donor in LMC Sweet Dreams, a future donor in LMC BETM Dreamsicle and the reigning International Champion Bull LMC 6G Red Rock. She also has two other good-looking herd bulls working for Dean Gelbraith in Missouri and LMC. She has worked well with San Antonio Grand Champion bulls LMC Gigem and LMC HS Rocco. We believe that when mated to the 2011 International and Reserve National Champion LMC Rhino bull she has produced her best yet. This flush out of Rhino produced the LMC Gold Medal bull that is a stud to say the least and these two gorgeous baby dolls before you today. The Redream heifer did not fall far from the tree, as they say. She is one striking female that nears perfection in the flesh like Dream Girl. She is eye appealing, clean fronted and has plenty of rib shape. She is big topped, flat hipped and has plenty of natural width when you get behind her. She should be labeled as an angular heifer that blends femininity and power exceptionally well. Redream is solid black, sound and has major league written all over her. We can’t predict the future, but we can stack genetics that have worked in the past and this is one of our most predictable bloodlines. Like their International Champion maternal brother and proven producing parents, these full sisters should be ultra competitive in the show ring and go on to make productive foundation stock for you in the pasture. The Daydream heifer may have a stouter structure than her sister, carrying more bone and substance in her lower third. Daydream is strong topped, soft bellied and as long as a South Texas summer day. She is solid black as well, and has plenty of eye appeal and breed character to spare. Daydream is deep sided, has a nicely designed navel and has been picked by several as the better heifer of the two. We can’t wait for you to see them and make that call for yourself. If you are looking for a female that will compete in the ring and create consumer demand for you out of it, consider these two as two you can count on. We are selling full interest and full possession in both Redream and Daydream, so help yourselves here and bid with confidence as it does not get much more predictable than this bloodline. You are investing GENETIC LEAD TIME when you can say that you own the next generation of the Dream Girl family. It is only going to get better as we produce more and more matings out of her. Sellers are retaining the second flush or half of two flushes – buyer’s choice to be done at a mutually agree upon lab.

Depending on what you plan to do with them as to which will best fit your program. They all qualify for our $100,000 LMC Junior benefits. Buy one of these baby dolls that will add lots of promotional value to your marketing because the people involved with this cow family are some of the most progressive breeders and marketers in the cattle business. As they and we continue to promote this cow family, you can benefit without having to invest any more money. The sire of these baby dolls is the 2011 International Champion and Reserve National Champion LMC Rhino who is a double bred “Rob” – a very productive bull we bought from our ole buddy Rob Brown who is a no nonsense COWMAN. This bull produced lots of good cattle for us. Rhino’s sire and grand sire (LM Full House and HR Powerhouse) were both International Champions. Winning is found on the top and bottom of these pedigrees. We are going to wean these good looking show prospects early and have them broke for the sale. SMITH NU WAVE II HR POWER HOUSE 1 Sire: LMC WFC MOOSE 5U/57 Dam: PRR MORNING STAR 502P LMC MISS DIVA LM SHE MOVES 3L/136 Selling half interest and half possession with LMC retaining their half possession and half interest. Great herds and great breeds are built around great cow families and in Simbrah you can count on LM She Moves being in the history book when that time comes. I could write a book on what she has done, but will summarize her goodness to being the only cow to-date to produce two International Champion and one Reserve International Champion bulls, a daughter that was better, but died very young and the fact that at 12 years of age she is still producing championship cattle from new matings and making money for her owner Tim Smith who paid $21,000 to top SYNERGY II. To-date, she has registered 38 calves. The daughter that died was the very popular PRR Morning Star who was the only full sister to the Houston Champs Red and Black Bullet. She produced lots of great ones in a short time for Pine Ridge, Charley Honeycutt, Ronnie Smith, BETM and us. Rocco and the 2012 National Champion Powerman are two of her major champion sons. Her daughter Marilana, owned by Darryl Raub, won reserve at Fort Worth twice. Full of Moves is one of Ronnie Smith’s favorites as is Sunset, which is a full sister to this baby doll that we sold Ronnie last year private treaty at the $ellabration for $25,000. He also bought another full sib in the sale named Cool Front. We own another good looking black baldy full sib with Mckaylie Phillips and a full brother named Super Star with RGV Cattle. Their sire is LMC WFC Moose who won Calf Champion in Houston and is a full sib to Dream Girl, who combines two of the hottest cow families in the breed. I could go on and on, but you get the picture. These cattle are some of the very best and they will work for you. Morning Star registered 42 calves in her short, but good, life.

We always let our junior clients that want to sell their show heifers sell them in our sale. This is one of the better young, cherry red heifers in the breed. There will not be any more Morning Star daughters. She sells bred to LMC ATZ Cuervo who is a full sib to Dr. Feel Good. Megan is dispersing her elite herd in this sale as she is graduating this May. Let’s help her build her college fund.

BUYER'S CHOICE SPRING CALF CROP Owned by: England Cattle Co.

Selling 100% of buyer’s choice of our spring registered Brahman calf crop – bull or heifer. Choice to be made by Labor Day 2013. I would like to start off by thanking Carlos and his family for giving us the opportunity to participate in this great event. We have been close friends with the Guerra’s since the late 70’s. We like the Guerra’s are excited about our POLLED Brahman program and want to share the fruits of our labor with the Brahman and beef world. We started with a young polled heifer from La Muñeca that we named Polled Crickett. We have since put together a herd of 50 mama cows from some of the great Brahman programs that include Ava Barker, Schneider Brahmans, Sam Duplantis, Ken Stone, LMC and several others.

LMC Polled Authority - our senior herd sire & sire of calf crop

Our Senior Herd Sire is LMC Polled Authority that we co-own with LMC whose first babies are just now being born. We like what we see as they are big boned, strong calves. He is a LMC LF Ambassador son that goes back to JDH Madison, JDH Karu and MR V8 189/4 – three major league herd sires that have been used all over the world. We live five minutes from the RGV Show grounds and look forward to meeting you at the sale and would appreciate the opportunity to show you both our registered Brahman cattle and our F-1 operation at your earliest convenience. England Farms will reserve the right to one flush if you pick a heifer or 200 units of semen for our own in herd use if you pick a bull. Please call me at 956-330 0916-or email englandfarms@aol.com.

Three words come to mind when I think about the Guerra family and La Muñeca Ranch: Hospitality – Honesty – Quality. In all the years that I have known the Guerra family these three words best describe them. It's like walking into a five-star relationship, where you know their word is as good as gold and they have a quality product, first in their family and second in their cattle they sell. Crickett and I are honored to have someone like them as they are special people in our lives.
