Sale Terms Air Travel: Dallas/Fort Worth Airport is approximately one hour from WHR Shorthorns. Mailed Bids: Mailed or telephoned bids will be handled in a most confidential manner. If you are unable to attend the sale personally, simply contact a representative of the sale far enough in advance prior to sale day. They will be able to assist you at ringside on sale day.
Health: Each animal selling will have a state approved health certificate for interstate shipment. Buyers should make themselves aware of the health requirement for the respective states. Breeding Guarantee: All cattle sell under the Standard Breeding Guarantee recommended by the American Shorthorn Association. An exception would be through mishandling either obesity or under nourishment and illegal practices associated with showing the female.
Delivery: Every effort will be made by the sellers to assist you in the delivery of your purchases should you need assistance. This delivery will be made to central points at the most economical cost possible. Terms And Conditions: Terms of the sale are cash or check payable to WHR Shorthorns. Settlement is to be made with the clerk immediately following the sale and before the cattle are removed from the premises. Purchasers or thier representatives must sign the bill of sale prior to leaving the sale site.
Flush Rights: WHR Shorthorns and the Lone Star Edition XVIII consignors reserve the right to one flush of eight or more grade 1 or 2 embryos at our expense on all females selling. Flush to take place at the convenience of the buyer at a location of their choice.
