Dear Brahman Breeders, Welcome to our third ABBA Spring Select Brahman Sale. We are really pleased with the quality of cattle consigned to this sale. The consignors have gone deep into their herds by offering some tremendous Brahman genetics. When this sale was started we wanted it to be very “select” in nature. We wanted to provide another avenue for our breeders to showcase their Brahman programs by consigning a few of their best. I am proud of the commitment all the breeders have made to this sale and to the breed as a whole. The area breeders are excited to have this sale, once again in Louisiana, and are planning to make it a very memorable event. Not only are they consigning some outstanding cattle, but they (along with other sponsors) are providing the Friday night crawfish boil and entertainment. Cattle In Motion 4 | ABBA Spring Select Sale
All cattle offered for sale will be sold to the highest bidder. The Auctioneer will settle any disputes with regards to bids and his decision will be final. Corrections or additions to any information in the sale catalog will be announced from the auction block and will take precedence over any printed material. It is the responsibility of the seller to provide the sale management with any corrections prior to the sale. Terms of the sale are cash or check payable to Broken Triangle Cattle in full to sale clerk immediately following the sale. Cattle will not be released until payment is made, unless prior arrangements are made with sale management. Each animal will become the buyer’s responsibility as soon as sold. The owners, employees, auctioneer or other affiliated personnel will not be responsible for any accidents, but will make every effort to provide for the safety and comfort of the animals and attendees. Transfer of animal ownership will be the responsibility of Broken Triangle Cattle and will be done at the expense of seller only after clearance of all checks. Transfers should be completed within 2 weeks of sale date. Every animal in the sale will be represented by state approved health certificate for interstate shipping. All cattle sold for export must be paid in full immediately following the sale. Seller will supply all necessary health testing required for export to the buyer’s specific country. The buyer must arrange for the care of the animals until proper health papers can be completed. Bulls will be fertility tested and will meet the Trich requirements for Louisiana and out of state shipment. All bred females are considered breeders with no further guarantee. All animals are guaranteed to be breeders with the exception of (a) any female that is placed in an embryo transplant program and subjected to superovulation or (b) neglect on part of the buyer. In the event an animal is claimed to be a non-breeder, the purchaser may return the animal to the seller’s farm if in good condition and accompanied with a health certificate indicating that the animal is free from infectious and contagious disease. This is done at purchaser’s expense. The seller is then entitled to a six month trial following the return of the animal, at which time he will have the opportunity to determine the animals breeding ability. If at the end of six months the seller is unable to prove the animal is a sound breeder the seller shall have the option to replace the animal with another of similar quality or to refund the purchase price. If the seller determines the proven breeding ability of the animal it shall be obligation of the purchaser to accept delivery of the animal. All transportation is to be at purchaser’s expense. There will be NO LOAD OUT DURING SALE!! Cattle must be removed from sales facility immediately following sale on Saturday evening. No cattle will be allowed to remain overnight after the sale.
