She still looked good and weighed 1600lbs, her bull calf weaned off at 760lbs. We feel 17A has it in her to do the same.

True to the Eionmor Songstress line her dam is a top producing, heavy milker who weans off one of the heaviest calves every year, this female was no exception. With a hind quarter as wide as they come and length to match, this female will be a top producing cow like her momma.

The service sire of the bred heifers is Horseshoe Creek Absolute 57A, a son of Cumberland Gay Lad and out of HCFL Elsie’s J-Lo 3T. He was chosen at the Sun Country sale last spring to be used on our heifers.

River Acres Shorthorns This group of yearling heifers are all daughters of the Saskvalley Wampum 254W bull we purchased from Saskvalley Stock Farm in the Who’s Your Daddy Bull Sale. He stamps them deep bodied, moderate, easy fleshing and feminine. These females carry the heritage of our cow families; the Lady, Flower, Velvet, Talcott Joyful and Cathy Joyful. These females are bred to Bell M Visor 49A, a son of Saskvalley Vision 535U and out of a Florence cow. Bred July 4 - October 1.

Neither does the Saskatchewan Shorthorn Association assume any financial obligations to collect or enforce collections of any monies between parties and any legal action that may in exceptional cases be taken must be between the buyer and the seller. Saskatchewan Shorthorn Association assumes no responsibility for any credit extended by the seller to the buyers. The buyer must look to the seller for fulfillment of all guarantees and representations made hereunder.
