Welcome, We welcome everyone to our Open House at 4 p.m., Saturday May 3, 2014. Andy Nelson’s Bar B Q will put on one of their famous Pig Pickins and, as always, we will have plenty of top-shelf beverages. Please plan to stick around and watch The Kentucky Derby with us. Come early and stay late, and don’t hesitate to call if you need travel arrangements. This is a really exciting group of late-summer and fall-born heifer calves, and perhaps the deepest, most consistent set of heifers to sell to date. They represent some of our greatest cow families and favorite bulls. We completely expect all of these heifers to make outstanding momma cows, and we think several will have stellar show careers. Most are very well suited for the youngest juniors, while a couple are a little faster and maybe more suited for older juniors. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding the perfect heifer for you and your program. We have selected a couple females which we will retain an embryo interest in for various reasons. Other than that, they sell in their entirety. We will gladly help you with delivery options. EXTENDED BIDDING WILL CONTINUE UNTIL THERE IS NO BIDDING FOR 5 MINUTES! With this option, all lots will close simultaneously. A few benefits to this style of auction are the buyer has the CHOICE to switch to any lot(s) in the offering if he is outbid on his/her current choice; buyer does not have to deal with the sale order of the sale because all lots are offered and bid on simultaneously; and the buyer has a choice(s) and more time to make his/her decision.

SALE TERMS AND CONDITIONS TERMS: All bidding and payments are in US Dollars. Accepted payment forms are: Corporate or personal check, cashier’s check, money order, Visa, Master Card, and Discover all immediately negotiable. 5% Credit Card convenience charge will be placed on all credit card purchases (Accepted - Visa, Master Card, and Discover). All payments are to be made to Angus Live - And Sent To - PO BOX 457 Smithville, MO 64089. Late fees are subject to a 15% finance charge after the seventh day. A fee of $50 will be assessed on all late payments or returned checks and the bidder will be denied access to future auctions. Time and time again this mating produces champions. She is the 2007 Denver Reserve Grand Female mated to the 2009 Denver Grand Champion Bull. Five years later they are still knocking your socks of. Dark footed, super long bodied and big topped. This one is a particularly a little cocky. Perhaps the greenest heifer in the sale, but don’t let that fool you. We never know why they are green coming out of the recipient herd. She’s come the furthest since she’s been here, and I completely expect that by sale day she’ll be one of the favorites. We believe Cowboy Cut and Luanna should be the perfect mating. Lots 10 and 11 are show and brood cow prospects from Windsong x Sideways. If there’s a cow-making mating in the sale, this is it. They have a beautiful set of EPDs that match the product. I can hardly wait to see these girls in production. Windsong daughters have become highly sought after since Windsong’s passing and this could be some of the best. Big, dark footed, broad muzzled. If you’ve got that special kid at home, we think this heifer fills the bill. Super gentle, super cute, super good!! Take her home and watch them grow up together. And when her show career is over, this Mahogany will be a productive brood cow. She will not have only taken care of the kid but will probably produce Lot 1 in the bull sale or your favorite in the replacement pen. 56N stamps them out.
