Reach Out and Give a Life Giving Gift this Christmas Welcome to Catholic Mission’s ‘Life-Giving Gifts’. Here you can find a selection of Christmas gifts that will truly have a lasting impact for people in need all around the world. HOW DO GIFTS WORK? When you purchase a Life-Giving Gift, you can choose from two categories: tax-deductible and non-tax-deductible gifts. Tax-deductible gifts go towards welfare and community‑based development projects such as food; water; sanitation; agriculture; job creation; social enterprise; microfinance; education, including school fees; and emergency relief programs. Non-tax-deductible gifts go towards faith-based projects such as training of novices, seminarians and catechists, building or renovating churches, constructing and maintaining Catholic schools and children’s catechism. You will receive a beautifully designed printed card portraying the photo of the gift you have purchased, plus some information about what your gift represents. The card will be posted to you and you will be able to write your own personal message on it before giving it to your loved one. Please allow up to ten business days to receive your cards. Alternatively you can choose to order your gifts online and send your loved one an e-card either immediately or on a designated date.
HOW DOES MY GIFT CONTRIBUTE TO THE FUNDED PROJECTS? The gifts featured throughout the catalogue are representative of the life-changing projects we support throughout the world in each category: tax-deductible and non-tax-deductible.
