Give a gift wrapped in love!

WHO IS CATHOLIC MISSION?

Welcome to Catholic Mission’s ‘Life-Giving Gifts’, the catalogue for people who are passionate about making a difference globally. Here you can find a selection of gifts that will truly have a lasting impact for those in desperate need around the world.

Catholic Mission is the international mission agency of the Catholic Church in Australia. We reach out, give life and call all people in the world to faith, justice and love. We operate in over 160 countries around the world and support initiatives in 1,100 dioceses, including remote Australia.

HOW DO GIFTS WORK?

When you purchase a Life-Giving Gift, you can choose from two categories: tax-deductible and non-tax-deductible gifts. Tax-deductible gifts go towards community-based development projects, such as water, sanitation, agriculture, job creation, social enterprise, microfinance, and emergency relief programs. Non-tax-deductible gifts go towards faith-based and welfare projects, such as the running of orphanages and feeding programs; training of novices, seminarians and catechists; building or renovating churches; constructing and maintaining schools; school fees and children’s catechism.

For more info, please visit: catholicmission.org.au You will receive a beautifully designed printed card portraying the photo of the gift you have purchased, plus some information about what your gift represents. The card will be posted to you and you will be able to write your own personal message on it before giving it to your loved one. Please allow up to ten business days to receive your cards. Alternatively you can choose to order your gifts online and send your loved one an e-card either immediately or on a designated date.

HOW DOES MY GIFT CONTRIBUTE TO THE FUNDED PROJECTS? The gifts featured throughout the catalogue are representative of the life-changing projects we support throughout the world in each category: tax-deductible and non-tax-deductible. When you purchase your Life-Giving Gift, your donation will fund a range of similar projects in the category you have chosen. You can also order online at
