Dear Friends of Irish Fest, For over 85 years, Catholic Charities has been creating hope and changing lives in the most vulnerable moments for individuals and families in Nebraska. We have witnessed the joy and hope Catholic Charities brings to the community and are thrilled to serve as this year’s honorary chairs for Irish Fest 2015 and honored to welcome you to the big event! Each year, Catholic Charities serves over 100,000 local individuals and families who struggle with hunger, addiction and abuse. The lives of so many have been blessed by Catholic Charities and with your support tonight, Catholic Charities will continue providing critical help and hope to those who need it the most. As special friends of Catholic Charities, we would like to share with you a traditional Irish wish for a friend: Wishing you a rainbow For sunlight after showers— Miles and miles of Irish smiles For golden happy hours— Shamrocks at your doorway For luck and laughter too, And a host of friends that never ends Each day your whole life through! Please join us in supporting Catholic Charities Irish Fest 2015: Cruisin’ in Clover. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. Sláinte!

Sharon and Norm Timmerman

2 Cruisin’ In Clover

Dear Friends of Irish Fest, As this year’s chairs of “Cruisin’ In Clover Irish Fest 2015,” we thank you for your support in “providing hope, changing lives, and serving all.” This year alone over 100,000 individuals with debilitating problems including hunger, substance abuse, mental illness and domestic violence will receive the help they need regardless of ability to pay from Catholic Charities of Omaha. Without your help, they simply would not be able to minister to these fundamental needs of our community; which unfortunately continue to grow. For 22 years Irish Fest has been Catholic Charities’ largest annual fundraiser. With this event, we are able to help fund vital programs that better our community. Each day, we find Christ in the people we serve. Their humility, humanity, and gratitude empowers Catholic Charities to advocate for those in need. Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of others. To the many donors, sponsors and supporters that have assisted in making this event possible, we thank you! The four of us are deeply humbled by the kindness and philanthropic spirit of Sharon and Norm Timmerman, our honorary chairs. Finally, we could not do without the hard work and dedication of the Catholic Charities Development Staff - Cailan, Emily, Jessica and Kiley. “May the dreams you hold dearest be those which come true and the kindness you spread keep returning to you.” Now let’s “gear up for some fun” and enjoy tonight’s entertainment from Pink Kadillac! Gratefully,

Kyle and Mike Robino

Dear Friends and Supporters of Irish Fest, On behalf of the Catholic Charities’ clients, staff and Board of Directors, we welcome you to Irish Fest 2015. Your generous support of this year’s event, “Cruisin’ in Clover,” helps to sustain the services and mission of Catholic Charities as we seek to serve, empower, and advocate for those most in need in our community. We would like to recognize and extend our deep appreciation for this year’s event leadership. A very special thank you to honorary chairs, Sharon and Norm Timmerman, whose help has been invaluable; and to general chairs, Kathy and Jeff Neary and Kyle and Mike Robino. They have done a tremendous job in planning tonight’s activities, recruiting sponsors, soliciting donations, putting together auction packages and pulling all the details together to make this event a great success. We truly appreciate their hard work and dedication to the mission of Catholic Charities! At Catholic Charities our clients come to us in times of great need. Working with individuals and families, we strive to build just and compassionate communities. Catholic Charities has a staff of 290 employees and a $15.8 million budget. We provide services at 10 locations serving people throughout the Archdiocese – reaching 100,000 individuals and families every year. With your support, we seek to address the most fundamental needs of our community. With God’s grace and your generosity, we look to the future with confidence that Catholic Charities will continue to be respected as an innovative leader and passionate service provider.
