THE FEAST OF THE CAPADOKIAN TASTES

Extra fresh calamari* filled with Mount Athos aromas and lemon sauce (*The fish and seafood of Mount Athos are renowned for their exquisite flavor. The reason they are so different from the rest is that the waters of the bay are deep and clean, as the area has many sea currents and there are no organized cultivations to affect it. Thus, our seafood is caught in very deep waters, with the highest salinity in Greece, and rich in plankton and clean food, since no rivers or streams end up in the bay to disturb the balance of the water composition)

Fresh fish with athonite spring herbs** (**Mount Athos has rich, unspoilt vegetation. The monks collect all sorts of plants, herbs and fruit and use them in their cooking).

Desert : Greek “Revani” from Partheniadis with aromas from Asia Minor*** (*** The residents of Nea Roda perpetuate with respect and true devotion all the culinary habits of their grandmothers, who, driven from their homeland in Roda of Asia Minor, brought them with them and taught them in their new homeland, to create new trends, brought from the East - always with the ense of tidiness and worship for all that they so unjustly left behind...).

Nea Roda is famous for the huge quantity of fish caught here! The area has the largest fishing fleet in central Macedonia. This means that the fish served on the area have been caught on the same day. Besides, in Nea Roda if a fish was caught yesterday, it is not considered fresh!
