RESEARCH METHODOLOGY • Hence, the protection method named as “a stack of rings with soft blade“ has been developed by combining the three above mentioned methods. For the first method, to strengthen anti-erosion ability of local piers was used. Sheltering and slow water flow was employed from the second one. From the third one, sediment diversion supplementary method was used to add sand to the exposed places and to reduce scour.
