CAMP - SPRING BREAK Dancenastic Camp

JEM Splashtastic Camp

You'll flip for our spring break dance and gymnastics camp! Participants use beam, bars, floor, vault and Tumbltrak dance styles include ballet, lyrical, jazz, and hip hop, plus musical theatre for the 6-14 year olds. Camp also includes a craft.

Participants' current swimming abilities are assessed during the first hour of camp. Must be a competent swimmer and swim without any assistance from the instructor before registering for the camp. The next two hours of camp are Jr. Lifeguard camp and possible fun swim at the end.

Fountain View Recreation Center Participants must have a water bottle, towel, swimsuit/swim trunks, and a snack with them (no nuts). All participants receive a certificate of completion and a whistle to keep.

Jr. Lifeguard Camp All curriculum is based on the Ellis & Associates lifeguard course. Dryland training includes three levels of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for adults, children and infants, as well as first aid, the Heimlich maneuver, defibrillation, and scanning drills, as well as the use of certain equipment such as lifeguard tube, and automated external defibrillator (AED), and oxygen. Basic rescues, GID (guest in distress) drills, lifeguard chair jumps, rapid extrications, and spinals are part of the in-water training. Ages 8-14 Mon,Tue,Wed,Thu 3/25-28 11AM-1PM $120R/$140NR 29183

Cinderella Theatre Camp Students explore the story inspired by the age old fairytale of Cinderella. Gain confidence while learning vocal warmups, acting exercises and theatre games. CAMP - SPRING BREAK

Each day includes a field trip, special event, or theme day. Kids also enjoy crafts, games and sports. Grades K-6 Simkus Recreation Center Open to students of all school districts. CAMP - SUMMER BREAK

May 24 – August 20* For kids entering grades K-6 Location: Simkus Recreation Center Safe, Fun, Affordable! Theme days, special events, field trips and swimming at Coral Cove Water Park keep your child excited about the camp experience all summer long. Kids enjoy weekly trips to Enchanted Castle and a Kane Country Cougars game, compete with teams in survivor style challenges, bounce around an inflatable, and make a splash during water days. Campers enjoy outings to Coral Cove Water Park, Coyote Crossing Mini Golf, McCaslin Park, and additional local parks. Our counselors are great role models and their top priority is to provide a safe place for your child to have an active, rewarding summer. You want the best for your child and our goal is to provide a summer filled with memories that last a lifetime!

Additional participant information is required through ePact prior to attendance. Kindergarteners must be 5 by September 1. Requests for oneon-one WDSRA inclusion support must be made by May 1. Field trips, special events, theme days are subject to change. Full schedule will be posted on the camp webpage by April 1. *Camp start and end dates may be adjusted based on the CCSD93 school calendar. Camp is not held on May 27 and July 4 – fees are prorated accordingly.

Before & After Camp take place at Simkus Recreation Center. Staff shuttle campers to/from Evergreen Elementary School.

The majority of the camp day is spent outdoors playing sports and games. Weekly highlights include visiting McCaslin Park, mini golf at Coyote Crossing, field trips, additional park visits, and multiple days of swimming at Coral Cove Water Park. During inclement weather and for breaks from the summer sun, camp will be moved indoors.
