Rules Policies 1. All daily admissions must show photo ID before entering the pool.

CLOSING POLICY During the season the pool may close or be closed early if one or more of the following occurs:

   

Inclement weather Low attendance Unforeseen emergency/maintenance In the event of thunder and/or lightning while the pool is open, swimmers will be required to remain clear of the pool for 30 minutes after the last sighting of lightning or clap of thunder.

Rain checks may be issued when the facility must be closed due to storm or emergency. They will only be issued to those admitted within 30 minutes of the closure.

2. Season pass holders must scan their card when entering the pool each day. If you forget your card more than 3 times you will need to pay $5 for a replacement card or the admission fee. 3. Non-swimmers/chaperones who wish to enter the pool must pay the regular fee. 4. Children 12 years of age and younger MUST be accompanied at all times by a supervisor 16 years of age or older. 5. Children in the wading pool must be 8 years of age or under, and supervised by a responsible person 16 years of age or older. 6. Children that are not toilet trained are required to wear swim diapers that fit snugly around the legs and waist.

PATRON DISCIPLINE POLICY Violations of the Carlisle Community Pool rules and policies will result in corrective actions. Violators may be suspended, expelled, or banned (without refund) from the pool complex for a length of time to be determined by staff.

9. Inflatable flotation aids must be kept in water less than 5 feet deep, and may be prohibited if the pool is crowded. Balls and other pool toys are permitted when the pool is not crowded. 10. Patrons must be at least 54 inches tall to go down the water slide or pass a staff provided swim test to go down the water slide. 11. No chains, jewelry, buttons, watches, swimmies, lifejackets, and/or goggles when using the water slide. 12. Patrons may NOT wait inside the landing or diving area.

13. Diving is only permitted in the diving well. 14. Only one person is permitted on the diving board at a time; and only one bounce is permitted. Weight capacity = 250 lbs. 15. PROHIBITED: smoking, alcohol, drugs, glass/metal containers, large coolers, and weapons.

16. The Carlisle Community Pool is not responsible for any valuables or personal property brought into the facility. Lockers are not available. These rules are designed to ensure the health and safety for all pool patrons. While we wish that you have an enjoyable experience, for safety and security reasons we must enforce the rules. Amenities and Services The Carlisle Community Pool has been serving

the community since 1968 and was renovated in 2007. We offer seasonal memberships, daily admissions, group rates, private and public pool parties, special events, daily lap swims and other aquatic programs such as Little Skimmers and Swim Lessons. The Carlisle Community Pool is a 3 acre park which offers a large “z shape” main pool 3’12’ deep with a giant twisting waterslide, aqua climb wall, lane lines, and diving board; two large shade shelters; and grass space for activities and sunbathing. We also have a separate fenced wading pool 0’-1.5’ deep for ages 8 and under-perfect for young families. The wading pool includes a tea cup water feature, built in bench and small shade umbrella. The fenced recreational area includes a lighted pavilion with eight picnic tables and two charcoal grills, basketball, volleyball and shuffle board. A concession stand offers cold fountain drinks, Slush Puppies, soft pretzels, hotdogs, nachos with cheese, ice cream and candy. Lounge chairs are available to rent and swim diapers are available to purchase for $2 at the concession stand. DAILY ADMISSION

Purchase season memberships at the Parks and Recreation Department in the Stuart Community Center 415 Franklin Street in Carlisle. $15 off in March, $10 off in April, and $5 off in May. Please Note: Passes are NOT available to purchase online or at the Carlisle Community Pool. Pictures will be required for all new season pass holders. Photo retakes may be required for some members. Season pool memberships need to be purchased annually and passes should be kept from year to year. Replacement cards cost $5.00 each. Family Pass = persons residing in the same household including no more than two adults. Proof of residency is required. Children must be 21 years or younger. Children 3 years of age or younger do not need a pool pass. A non-resident is any person who lives outside of the Borough of Carlisle. A list of Borough streets is available to those who are unsure of their residency.

PRIVATE POOL PARTY Reserve the entire pool including the pavilion for your own private birthday party, family reunion, work party, or bar mitzvah for a minimum of two hours! Outside food/beverage is permitted. The concession stand is not available during private pool party. *Pool Members receive a $25 discount on the hourly rate. Available: Fridays and Saturdays, 6:30—9:30pm Cost: $200/hour Extra Fee: Tot Pool = $25/hour

PAVILION RENTAL Reserve the entire pavilion (8 tables) during normal pool hours for a max of two hours. Additional fees apply for daily admission. Available: Sunday—Thursday: 1-3pm, 3-5pm, 5-7pm Friday—Saturday: 12-2pm, 2-4pm, 4-6pm Cost: $40/whole pavilion (8 tables) *Free for Pool Members. Reservations are required for all rentals.
