The Brief Create a logo design and a sample of merchandise for the band; Foxx.

Concept/Proposition Mythical

Considerations There are several bands that also use the name Fox within their title, how can you separate the identity and give Foxx a more distinct visual quality? What qualities does the term mystical imply and how can they be applied to the visuals of the band? What merchandise reflects the needs of the target audience, how are they delivered and what specific visual elements make them appealing?

Background Foxx produce indie/pop music targeted at young teen individuals with a promise of fun though a light-hearted musical set-up. The band are currently touring with Duran Duran and aim to provide a unique alternative sound by travelling with a larger band. The band contains five members with ages from 17 – 34. Target Audience Teen, young girls, those interested in small unknown bands

Mandatory Requirements The Logo must contain the word ‘Foxx’. Use of the band name Foxx where appropriate. Merchandise that reflects the needs of those who would buy the merchandise.

Tone of Voice Eclectic, type-driven, random.
