eople can’t believe she is the same baby,” Alycia Goodrich says during her daughter’s first postoperative visit to SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center. Sophia Goodrich was born with cleft lip and palate on Dec. Sophia at birth 8, 2010. The clefts produced wide gaps in her upper lip, nose and roof of her mouth. “Her pediatrician recommended we go to Cardinal Glennon,” her mom says. “That’s where he sends all his patients for pediatric care.”
