A Little About Lauren So to start with the basics: -I’m a small town girl married to my best friend -Mommy to two, beautiful little girls -I’m completely addicted to chocolate and books -My other gig is running my blog, The Message Mama -At 17 I decided to start the business you see today Yup, you read that right, I was 17 when I shot my very first wedding. I may have had no idea what I was doing then, but ever since, I have been determined to grow my photography into my dream. And thanks to my husband, I get to do just that! When we had our daughter, I became a fulltime mom and took my photography full time as well. So you can pretty much always find me either in yoga pants with a baby on my hip, at my computer writing some blogs or taking an online class, or out with my camera around my neck with some awesome people (that’s you). It’s kinda the best. One thing I am super passionate about, is making people feel loved. I love spoiling my family, friends, and my clients. When I was little, I would bring my teachers presents just because, or I would wrap up the silliest things to give to my mom (which are still sitting on her dresser). I believe that everyone deserves to feel special, because let’s be real, you do. So if there is one thing you need to know about me, it’s that I love to love. I love love stories, I love loving my family, I love loving my clients. So don’t be surprised when I want to hear every little detail about how you met, how he proposed, and everything about your wedding, or if you get something from me just because. I want to love, live life simply, and create the most beautiful memories.

I want to get to know your family and have fun with you. Because I put my friends and family first. Because that means that I care, that I am not going to put my paycheck first. And yeah, you kinda expect that from a family photographer, but I take it to a new level. Lifestyle Family Session
These sessions are fantastic for busy kids or times of the year when the weather is unpredictable. They are laid back and candid. Playing with the kids, tickle fights, and kisses are highly encouraged. Don’t worry if the toddler is running around. Don’t worry if the baby is crying. Lifestyle sessions document just that, life. Lauren has taken our family pictures twice. The first time in July 2015 when our daughter was 6 months and again this past October when she was 21 months. Both times I could not believe how well the pictures turned out. She was able to capture lots of smiles and adorable poses the first time, even though Nora was very squirmy. The second time Nora pouted the entire time, but thanks to Lauren the pictures still turned out great. Lauren was easy to work with and was flexible with our schedule. W hat ’s Nex t ? Send me an email and we will set a date! After that, I’ll send you over a contract so we both know what to expect of the other, a questionnaire so I make sure I have all the details to prepare for your session, and an invoice for you to pay the deposit that goes towards your total! You can do it all from one page on your phone, your tablet, your computer, wherever you want! It’s pretty simple, and I like simple! Once we have the session, I’ll edit the photos within two to three days. Then I will upload them to a gallery where you will be able to download the digital images and purchase prints that will be delivered straight to you.
