The digital seam / weid monitor is a compact portable system for quick and accurate inspection and measuring of the seam. The seam length, body hook, end hook, overlap etc. can be viewed and measured. The images can be stored in a specially designed database, printed and ex-ported. The high resolution colour camera has a build in adjustable light source. Also weid seams, Z-bars and many other objects can be inspected and measured. Weid seams can be inspected without cutting the body, just place the can body horizontally before the camera and a mag net will keep the body in place. The system can work for approximately 3 hours without power supply.
