Position Summary This position oversees the maintenance of our 113 unit hotel, banquet facilities, common areas, food and beverage outlets, casino, and grounds. Key Accountabilities * Manage all aspects of maintenance for the resort including, but not limited to, tasks such as repairs to property (inside and out), general plumbing, drywall repair, painting, and coordinate services with trades * Manage all aspects of landscape operations for resort including, but not limited to, cutting the grass, picking weeds, trimming trees, and shoveling snow * Manage the ongoing maintenance of the resort facilities, accommodations and building systems in a proactive and preventative manner * Manage pool operations including, but not limited to, daily chemical testing, conducting minor repairs, cleaning and maintenance of pool and hot tub * Anticipate and manage health, safety and security issues on an ongoing basis * Work collaboratively with all members of the resort operations team to deliver quality product and services * Recruit, schedule and manage a maintenance staff of two plus yourself * Emergency on-call duty, work on evenings and weekends Skills and Qualifications: * 2-3 years of hands-on experience in a maintenance management position or similar role * Pool certification considered an asset not required. Key Accountabilities The Restaurant Manager will play a dual role serving as well as ensuring that the Front of House team members provide fantastic guest experiences. * Supervises, coordinates and directs the prompt, efficient and courteous serving of food and beverage in the restaurant with a focus on details * Recruit, train, manage, schedule, mentor, lead and develop up to 10 team members * Ensuring regular and effective communication takes place within the Department through individual and departmental communication meetings * Generate and promote teamwork and respectful workplace practices between the kitchen and service team * Ensuring the consistent cleanliness and maintenance of equipment and overall work environment as well as the proper inventory of necessary resources * Exhibits an entrepreneurial attitude towards the restaurant’s operation * Monitoring and continued development of food and beverage controls * Ongoing control and enhancement of quality standards and guest service * Actively participate in ongoing learning opportunities and enhancing their skills, abilities and professionalism for personal growth. Position Summary The Head of Hotel Housekeeping will be responsible for the supervision and control of cleaning and servicing for all guest rooms, food and beverage outlets, meeting facilities, casino, and public areas in the hotel. The job duties listed here are critical in the effective management of the hotel, as cleanliness is of the highest priority in the hospitality industry. The effective management of housekeeping employees will be paramount to the success of this position.
