Tie your way to fashion, function and fun when you make everything from beautiful decorative bracelets to tasty treats and more. Bake homemade pretzels or savory knot rolls over the campfire, practice lashing and build a fort, discover macramé and make a cool net bag or get creative and learn to braid a horse’s mane. Master the super 8 knot and belay your new friends on the Adventure Tower too. With all that Sugar Pine offers, add this knot craze and you’ll have your summer fun all tied up!
Climb and Ride
Grades 5 – 8 Sessions 1, 2 Fee $595 Yee Haw and On Belay? That’s right! Enjoy two of your favorite Sugar Pine activities in this dynamic duo adventure. Spend extra time horseback riding and climbing the different elements on the Adventure Tower. Learn more about Western Riding and caring for horses and ride three times including at least one trail ride. Then trade your saddle for a harness and hit the ropes when you climb the vertical playpen and soar through the trees on the zip line or traverse the catwalk and swirl through the air on the giant circular swing. It’s twice the fun for you!
U Choose!
Grades 6 – 9 Sessions 1, 4 Fee $530 Session 3 Fee $495 This is YOUR time and Sugar Pine is waiting for you. Help choose many of the activities your group will do. What will it be? Hang out by the pool, shoot archery, swim, express yourself in art, climb to the top of the Adventure Tower, and soar through the air on the zip line? Or maybe you’ll cook a gourmet meal over the campfire and enjoy a leisurely sleep-in breakfast. You might take a twilight hike for some fantastic star gazing or plan a dance party. And at the end of the day, you can share late night talks around a flickering campfire with new friends. Anything goes so U Choose!
Spa Sugar Pine
Grades 6 – 9 Sessions 2, 4 Fee $585 Pamper yourself in the pines! Marvel at the breathtaking mountain peaks on your trip over gorgeous Ebbett’s Pass as you head to Grover Hot Springs State Park. Have an overnight in this beautiful Alpine meadow and pine forest area and relax in the park’s warm natural spring-fed pool. Back at camp, create designer flip-flops, make your own aromatherapy candles, and spoil yourself with natural facial masks, foot soaks and organic smoothies. Ah… it’s all about the spa!
Lake Hoppers
Grades 6 – 9 Session 2 Fee $595 Water, water everywhere… and it’s all here for you! Visit several amazing Alpine lakes for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, and fun in the sun. With lazy days floating and swimming in the pool at camp, pool parties, hanging out with new friends, and much more, you’ll bring a splash of fun to your summer!
Cast Iron Chef
Grades 6 – 9 Sessions 2, 4 Fee $530 Calling all Campfire Chefs! Are you ready for the adventure of dutch oven cooking? Each day, your team will face a challenge to create new and tasty recipes using only this cast iron pot. To spice things up you’ll be given a daily secret ingredient to use. Maybe it will be fruit and you can make a dutch oven caramel apple pie or pineapple upside down cake? Or maybe it will be tortillas, who knows! Master the secret ingredient and learn some great techniques for making delicious food your friends will love! Practice your campfire culinary skills then show off your talents in a dutch oven cook-off competition. Go Chefs!
Down Under
Grades 7 – 12 Session 3 Fee $620 An underground adventure awaits you! Enter the crystal-filled caves at Mercer Caverns to see a beautiful subterranean wonderland. On this spelunking trek, view amazing calcite formations, rootsicles and stalactites. Then take a swim in an underground cave at Natural Bridges State Park. The adventure continues when you rappel 16 stories down in a cave at Moaning Caverns and crawl through tunnels on a guided spelunking tour. Back on the surface, you and your camp friends will enjoy all the fun Sugar Pine has to offer. Note: Campers must be at least 12 years old, at least 4 feet tall and weigh a minimum of 100 lbs.
Alpine Adventure
Grades 7 – 12 Sessions 1, 2, 4 Fee $620 Let the adventure begin! Challenge yourself with extra time on our high ropes Adventure Tower. Experience the fun and challenge of the vertical playpen, the climbing wall, or the horizontal ladder and soar through the air on the zip line. Take your Alpine Adventure to another level by flying across a canyon on a duel 1,500-foot zip line at Moaning Caverns. Your adventure continues when you head out on a special lake trip, such as swimming in an underground cave at Natural Bridges or swimming to the islands at Lake Utica. Awesome! Note: Campers must weigh between 70 and 250 lbs.
