Dott. Claudio Savaresi Medico Chirurgo Specialista in Oftalmologia Responsabile dell’Unità Operativa di Oculistica della Casa di Cura San Pio X Milano. Presso questa divisione vengono effettuati principalmente interventi chirurgici di Cataratta, Glaucoma, Strabismo, Vitreoretina e correzione dei Difetti Refrattivi (Miopia, Astigmatismo, Ipermetropia, Presbiopia) oltre al trattamento conservativo del Cheratocono. Tra i primi chirurghi al mondo ad impiantarele lenti intraoculari di tipo Accomodativo, Difrattivo, Multifocale per la correzione della presbiopia durante l’intervento di Cataratta. E’ stato il primo chirurgo al mondo ad effettuare l’impianto di sistemi ingrandenti di ultima generazione (vedi novità IOL VIP) nei pazienti affetti da patologia Retinica associata a Cataratta e sempre trai primi chirurghi ad effettuare la Terapia Termica Transpupillare (TTT) nei pazienti affetti da degenerazione maculare legata all’età. Sempre molto attento alle innovazioni tecnologiche che vengono di volta in volta introdotte sul mercato, in modo da poter offrire al paziente la massima scelta possibile ed individuare per ogni singolo paziente la migliore e più appropriata strategia risolutiva in riferimento alla patologia del paziente. Da oltre 10 anni ricopre la carica di Responsabile di Unità Operativa di Oculistica.
Surgeon specialized in ophthalmology Medico, Director of the Ophthalmological Unit at Casa di Cura San Pio X in Milan. At this unit there are mainly performed cataract, glaucoma, strabismus and vitreoretinal surgery and correction of the refractive defects (myopia, astigmatism, hypermetropy, presbyopia) as well as conservative treatment of the keratoconus. Dr. Savaresi was one of the first surgeons in the world to insert intraocular accommodative, diffractive, multifocal lenses in order to correct presbyopia during cataract surgery. He was the first surgeon to insert the most innovative enlarging systems (see IOL VIP novelty) in patients affected by retinal pathology associated to cataract. He was one of the first surgeon to perform transpupillary thermotherapy (TTT) in patients affected by macula degeneration due to ageing. He is very interested in technological innovations which are regularly introduced, in order to offer his patients the widest choice possible and identify the most appropriate solution for each patient according to their pathology. He has been Director of the ophthalmological unit for more than 10 years.
Safio Medical Viene creata nel 1998 con l’obiettivo principale di mettere a disposizione dei medici oftalmologi le attrezzature più sofisticate e di recente introduzione sul mercato internazionale e che quindi possano permettere di diagnosticare in tempi brevissimi le patologie oculari arrivando così, in tempi molto brevi alle soluzioni del caso. Safio Medical S.a.S was founded in 1998 with the primary aim of providing the ophthalmologists with the most advanced equipment launched in the international market. Thanks to them, it is possible to detect ocular pathologies in short time and thus to rapidly choose the proper solutions. For this reason, the equipment used in this structure is always updated according to the new and most advanced versions. The specialists working in the structure always attend refresher courses with the aim of understanding and interpreting the numerous data provided by recent equipments.
