CGS Open Day 2017

OPEN DAY SATURDAY 14 OCTOBER 2017 10am-2pm

Welcome to Camberwell Grammar School. We would like to welcome you to our campus following over a decade of building and are pleased to show off our school in its latest incarnation. Please feel free to explore our classrooms, performance and sporting facilities and to watch our students using those spaces in a variety of ways. Feel free also, to visit our beautiful All Souls Chapel, at the very centre of our school. As exciting as our new learning spaces and facilities are, they are merely shells without people in them – schools are not buildings, they are people, and it is the staff, students and parents who create our school and bring it to life. Please immerse yourself in our community today – see for yourself the strong foundations and traditions that our school is built on. Visit academic displays, listen to the music, and watch the sporting events, see the sights and sounds that make us who we are. I hope that you enjoy your visit today and that you will take the opportunity to speak with some of the many parents supporting us in the various activities and stalls, the staff and of course the students – in the end, they are our best ambassadors. If you would like to take a tour, some of our students will happily walk with you and give you their impressions of and experiences at our school. Welcome, and I hope that you are able to get a real sense of our School and who we are.
