At the end of 2019, with the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic, many executive women moved to work 100% remotely. This brought with it the difficulty to find time needed to leave the house to find clothing repairs and alterations tailoring services for the executive woman. In 2020 in the Auckland, New Zealand senior executive Tinna Taylor Thorn recognized this first-hand and made the decision that she would transform her life and that of other executive women like her, creating an on-demand feminine tailoring truck service at the doorstepof clients. Thorn’s goal was to design a tailoring service specialized in high end executive women’s clothing, that would offer same day repairs and alterations completed in 45 minutes. All services would be individualized and done from mobile tailoring truck studiosat the comfort of the client’s front door. This provides agility, praticality, elegance and comfort in an otherwise busy executive woman’s life.
