Chapter 5 Reset Keycard Menu Reset keycards have two purposes: (i) To invalidate a circulating keycard for a specific access level and/or (ii) To change the variable addresses (Section/Group/Floor/Zone/Area SubMaster levels) in a lock.

5.1 Guest Reset Keycards 5.1.1 Reset Guest Keycard 1. Swipe a valid FDU Authorization Keycard, or enter your assigned PIN number. For Contactless 790, present valid FDU Authorization Keycard to external Contactless Encoder. 2. If the user level is FDA, press the < > key to reach the main screen. 3. Press 5 to select “Reset Keycard” menu. 4. Press 1 to select “Reset Guest” menu. 5. Press 1 to select “Guest” menu. 6. Enter room number 101 (example). 7. Use the arrow down <T> button to change keycard quantity. 8. When quantity is set, press < > to encode keycard(s). 9. Insert and swipe a blank guest keycard and/or present card to Contactless Encoder (for 790 locks) 10. Your Reset Guest keycard has now been created for room 101.

5.1.2 Reset Adjoining Suites 1. Swipe a valid FDU Authorization Keycard, or enter your assigned PIN number. For Contactless 790, present valid FDU Authorization Keycard to external Contactless Encoder. 2. If the user level is FDA, press the < > key to reach the main screen. 3.
