Mission and Vision The LIFE Institute is the leading innovator of service delivery to troubled youth and families. It is our mission to improve the attitudes and decision making processes of those we serve. Our Vision is to help people in crisis lead responsible, productive, and healthy lives. By educating youth, families, and service providers, we are creating a voice that can be heard around the world.


The LIFE Center For Girls The LIFE Center For Girls offers the following programs throughout the year. Our programs are geared toward girls aged 7-12 and 13-17. o Twelve Step Choices Program o Academic Tutoring o Guest Speakers o Arts &Crafts o Peer Group Sessions o One on One Sessions o Career Training o Specialized Programs that offer positive reinforcement and character building. (Star of the Week).


OPERATION HOPE The LIFE Institute and its Operation Hope program is designed to help our youth to be successful. All youth between the ages of 13-22 years, regardless of background, are eligible to enroll. This program is most suited for the youth that have been or is impacted by gangs, drugs, academic failure, family management problems and/or is having problems finding the right venues to being productive.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS/ COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS

With a caseload of over 400 families who reside within Metro Louisville, The LIFE Institute Inc has been able to impact the community via key partnerships and referrals via local, and national community organizations and consortiums. The LIFE Institute Inc has been able to increase its services to youth and their families by doubling its caseload and diversifying its services and programs. Progress Report/2009 The LIFE Institute has been able to increase its services to metro Louisville residents, as well as diversify its services to include providing community services to area Immigrants and their families. The Institute is working on developing a more rigorous fundraising campaign that will involve seeking community sponsors, as well as creating the opportunity for patronage via individual donors.
