College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Brochure

Encompassing more than 50 programs ranging from the humanities, to social sciences, to interdisciplinary programs, to the natural sciences, the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) is designed to open your mind to new ways of thinking.

You’ll engage in timeless learning practices, hone your professional communication skills, conduct research, learn how to question everything, and carefully apply theory to develop new insights.

With the unwavering support of your faculty mentors, you’ll build professional portfolios through involvement in research, servicelearning, and internship opportunities. You’ll graduate with the ability to analyze information, think creatively, clearly communicate ideas, and make values-based decisions.

Sciences Complex

You’ll benefit from our Sciences Complex, a $100 million expansion and renovation that opened in fall 2021. The state-of-the-art facility includes high-tech classrooms, labs that mimic the set-up at top research companies, a science library, and collaborative work spaces.
