This innovative technology provides a personalized surgical plan based on the patient’s unique anatomy. After a 3D model of the joint is created, it is used to pre-plan and assist the surgeon in performing the joint replacement procedure. During surgery, the surgeon guides the robotic hand piece based on the patient-specific plan. This allows the surgeon to remove only the diseased bone, preserving healthy bone and soft tissue, and assists in positioning the implant based on the patient’s anatomy.
