HUSKY HIGHLIGHTS Bloomsburg is an easy drive from many metropolitan areas like Philadelphia, New York City, Allentown, Wilkes-Barre, Scranton, and Harrisburg. Each year, the Bloomsburg Fair attracts more than 300,000 visitors during the last week of September. The Fair has a variety of games, food vendors, shows, concerts, and contests.

ZEIGLER COLLEGE OF BUSINESS

Bloomsburg University’s Zeigler College of Business (ZCOB) is among only five percent of business schools worldwide accredited by AACSB. AACSB-accredited schools have the highest quality faculty, relevant and challenging curriculum, and provide educational and career opportunities not found at other business schools, and graduates are offered better, more competitive salaries.

HUSKY HIGHLIGHTS The Professional Sales Program was ranked among the top 100 programs in North America (Sales Education Foundation). The Accounting program has a 90% job placement over last 10 years. The Zeigler Institute for Professional Development equips students with the knowledge, skills, and experiences needed to succeed in the business world post-graduation.

HUSKY HIGHLIGHTS The American Sign Language program is one of just two four-year degree programs in the eastern U.S.

Through real classrooms, diverse practicums and experienced research-driven faculty, Bloomsburg University’s College of Education pairs a strong teaching foundation with quality field experiences to broaden the teacher candidate’s understanding of effective classroom instruction and establish a platform for putting theory and research into practice.

The Special Education program was named as one the top 25 programs in the country (Best Education Degrees). The College of Education prepares 21st century educators through the: Minor in Educational Technology Endorsement for Online Instruction Dual Certification programs Minor in the pioneering field of Playwork – the work of creating and maintaining spaces for children to play.

HUSKY HIGHLIGHTS Nursing program was ranked #1 in PA (collegeatlas.org). Digital Forensics has been designated a Center for Academic Excellence (CAE) in Cyber Defense Education in Cyber Defense Education by the NSA. The Institute for Concussion Research has been opened to add to the growing body of research on head injuries.

Bloomsburg University is home to one of the largest and most modern science buildings in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Here, science isn’t confined to the classroom or even the lab.
