Australia travel to this year’s world titles with its most inexperienced side it has sent. But what it lacks in experience it makes up for in enthusiasm. Marcus Jackson will captain this year’s team and will be assisted by vice-captain Barry Kitchener. These two players will be the only players to have played on the big stage at the world titles and a lot will be expected from these two to lead from the front. There are a couple of excitement machines in this year’s team so expect big things from the Big Unit Dax Wasley, who always sports a stand out hair style to match his ability on the table. Kris Jones and Anthony Chia also have great A games and will be crowd pleaser's. Ian Chung, Dene Heremaia and Phil Thorp make up the squad and all 3 have been very successful at Australian Titles over several years and are looking forward to testing themselves at World level. Manager is again Damien Smith who will once more be looking to securing a finals spot and go further than last year’s Elimination Semi Final. You can never discount Australia whoever they send to the titles they are here to win and try and bring another teams title back to Australia.
