The Heat Diva Nikki McCarver

Not Your Mom’s Historical Romance We all started somewhere in our reading career. I loved books from an early age, but the kind I craved was always kept at the top of the closet, just out of my reach. My romance obsession began with my mother’s historical romance books and a reading chair that gave me that extra inch to reach them. Windswept Passion by Sonya T. Pelton was an exciting adventure during colonial times when pirates and plantations existed. My young heart was lost and devoured more on continuous basis. The heroes were strong, stubborn, dominate, and fierce. But I grew weary of the female leads. They were all the same. Spoiled, naïve, scared, dramatic, basically everything I wasn’t in my youth. Then I picked up a Sabrina Jeffries book and fell in love all over again. I was shocked, delighted, and extremely hot and bothered. She went into such detail in a masturbation scene that I swear I was there watching him stroke. My love for naughty historicals was born and with it, a pressing need to find more! So for those of you starting out, Sabrina is a lovely break in, for those of you who want a little bit more? The Diva is here to deliver the historical heat!
