Polartec® Alpha® Polartec ® Alpha ® is a new concept in synthetic insulation focused on unsurpassed thermo-regulation and breathability. Unlike conventional synthetic insulations Alpha ® is a woven material that offers excellent stability and superior durability without the need for scrims or tightly woven fiber proof lining fabrics. Its unique woven structure allows for the use of highly breathable lining fabrics which permit body heat and moisture vapor to move through the insulation away from the body. This unrestricted movement of moisture vapor allows these garments to be worn in a much wider range of activities compared to conventional insulated garments.

Wm’s Isotherm Hoody
The new species of warm, light and breathable – the Isotherm Hoody’s active insulation is made with the ice climber or backcountry skier in mind. The Polartec ® Alpha ®, a new state-of-the-art insulation, banishes the need for impervious down-proof fabrics. Rather, this hoody is made with a ridiculously lightweight, abrasion-resistant fabric and lined with a breathable DriClime ® mesh. The result is a lighter, more breathable insulator that adjusts to every need.
