Please consider a visit to the newly expanded Allen County Museum, the MacDonell House and the train locomotive displays, a walk along the Ottawa River bike path and through our beautiful parks, fishing or sailing at the reservoirs, and a variety of entertainments available at the Veterans’ Memorial Civic & Convention Center, including the Lima Symphony Orchestra. You might enjoy the work of local artists at ArtSpace/Lima or a production at Encore Theatre, use the Lima Public Library, check out our numerous colleges and universities, or shop in Lima’s Downtown, at the Malls and in other retail centers. We continuously seek ways to improve the quality of life for the residents of the Lima/ Allen County Community. These encompass physical improvements planned along our Entrance Corridors and in the Central Business District, as well as economic development initiatives that include industrial expansions and investments at Procter & Gamble, General Dynamics, Ford Motor, and Husky Energy.
