He followed his father's business of manufacturing paint, to which business he and his brother now succeed, trading under the name of Hanline Bros. Mr. Hanline attends the Madison Avenue Temple and is a member of the Phoenix and Suburban Clubs, of the Elka and Amicable Lodge, A. F. & A. M., St. John's Chapter. Mr. Hanline married Miss Rosetta Baernstein and has two children, Leon S. Hanline and Mrs. Fred S. Stern.

Began the practice of law in 1895, and was elected a member of the State Senate of Maryland in 1899 to serve four years, and is at present Judge of the Juvenile Court of Baltimore City. Judge Moses is a member of the Phi Betta Kappa Society and has published a work on "Law Applicable to Strikes." He married Miss Hortense E.
