BRIEF HISTORY Smart Systems UK Ltd began life in 2000. The company specialises in Fire Alarm Systems, Emergency Lighting, Lighting and Safety Products. The products and services are supplied via a network of Electrical Wholesalers. Manufacturing and distribution is carried out at our sites in Coventry and London.

This price list applies to all orders placed for delivery on or after 1st January 2006 and supersedes all previous Smart Systems price lists. Prices shown are our current UK trade prices in pounds (£) sterling. Trade discounts may apply – contact our Sales Desk for details. Standard carriage is free on orders over £250.00 nett goods. Standard carriage on orders less than £250.00 nett goods will be charged at £9.50 (UK mainland only). Carriage charges for other areas are available on request.

An on-site delivery service is available at no extra cost. However, the nature of on-site deliveries (lack of access, etc.) means that goods often have to be signed for by someone other than your selected representative. Once a signature has been obtained, neither our carrier nor ourselves can be held responsible for the goods. Although we will endeavour to provide proof of delivery where possible, no compensation can be claimed for any consequential loss. An inspection and restocking charge of 15% will be made on returns (minimum £5.00 per consignment). Minimum invoice value = £20.00 + VAT. VAT is charged extra at the current rate. FIRE ALARM SYSTEMS Conventional 2-Wire Analogue/Addressable Components
CONVENTIONAL FIRE EQUIPMENT Types of Fire Systems Mark One Safety Solutions supply the following types of systems which will suit most applications: 1. Conventional. A zoned system where the protected building is divided into specific areas (zones), these control panels have a minimum of 2 sounder circuits. 2. Two Wire Conventional. Similar to the above but only one circuit per zone to connect detectors and sounders - installation savings can be as high as 40%. 3. Two Wire Plus. As per the 2 wire conventional but with the capability of distinguishing detectors in dwelling or communal areas - aimed at houses of multiple operation thereby helping to reduce unwanted false alarms. 4. Analogue Addressable. This system signals each device from the panel and is individually identified on the panel, devices are normally wired on a loop. The following are also available on a project basis: 1. Aspirated systems. Air sampling systems which provide early warning smoke detection. 2. Radio fire. These can be used where installation is very difficult, like historic buildings or sites with multiple buildings. A free Fire System design service to BS5839 is available

Twinflex Two Wire Installation - only one circuit per zone to connect detectors and sounders - installation savings can be as high as 40%. Multipoint detector has seven modes of detection. 32 devices per zone. Callpoint identification (panel has the ability to differentiate between callpoint or detector alarms). System fully complies with BS and EN. Built in end of line device, simply flicking a switch within any device will enable the end of line monitoring. Callpoint and detectors have the option of built-in sounders.

It is a fact that drift-compensation reduces false alarms. This feature is not normally available in a conventional system. Twinflex detector not only has this feature as standard but when the head does get contaminated it gives you a warning on the panel and at the detector.
CALLPOINT SOUNDER
When you get the warning you just change the disposable head and the detector automatically recalibrates back to normal. It’s as easy as that.
