Dear Readers, I sometimes joke that I will never get to be a bridesmaid because all of my closest friends are gay. It’s only funny because it’s true, although marriage equality laws across the country are (finally) opening up the possibility that my dreams of affirming my best friends’ relationship in front of all of their friends and family will become a reality
