Infant Daily Schedule 7:00 - 9:00: Arrival • Greet parents and infants • Put away bottles, food, diaper supplies • Spend individual time holding and talking to each child • Guided Exploration / Transitions activities
8:00 - 9:00: Breakfast • Individual cereal, baby food, & formula • Young infants have individual schedules that include feeding, diapering, & sleeping / Transitions 9:00 – 4:30pm • Feedings & naps based on individual babies schedules • Individual play on floor, group activities, movement exercises, • Nature walk / Outdoor play • Talk to each child throughout the day • Transitions 4:30 – 6:00 • Prepare for going home • Individual formula • Talk to parents
* Diaper Changes: As needed after breakfast, lunch, before and after naps, before departure, and changing of soiled diapers anytime during the day. * This schedule is very flexible, depending on the needs of the children and the weather. *Transitions help the children move from one activity to the next by allowing infants to adjust to the new activity gradually.
