How to Edit Video: A Guide for Beginners Our comprehensive post-production courses teach you how to think like an editor. Check out these editing gems from Sean Mannion, one of BRIC’s very talented instructors who has produced over 100 short films, web series, and web videos. In the broad scope, there are five stages of post-production: 1. Media Management – Organizing the media for your project. 2. Assembly – The start of your edit, a loose initial construction of your video. 3. Rough Cut – The first full version of your edit, still very loose. 4. Fine Cut – A refined version of your edit, close to finished but still needing some polish. 5. Final Cut – The final version of the edit.

PHOTOGRAPHY Gravitating towards my art in documentary filmmaking, I stumbled upon my own style of photography I like to call, Painting with Light. My color explosions give me a new way to see and be in awe of color, and yet induce a sense of nostalgia. I hope my art leads one to find the good in themselves, others, and in all things that lie beneath the surface of the soil and their soul. â€“Isaac Shrem

WINTER IS C OMING Twitter One of our favorite things to do after watching any show — but especially Game of Thrones — is to scroll through and read fan reactions, theories, and memes on Twitter. The final season of Game of Thrones premieres in April 2019 and will mark the end of an era for many people across the globe. Be part of the cultural phenomenon! In this class, you will learn Twitter basics, like how to have a conversation using 280 characters or less, liking, and retweeting. We’ll also cover more advanced topics, like how to create a poll and go live so that you can join the millions of #GoT fans in the Twitterverse.
