At 2 p.m., your voyage of discovery begins on a city tour. Visit St. Patrick’s Cathedral, see the Georgian squares, and walk the cobbled courtyards of Trinity College to its library and world treasure, the 8th-century Book of Kells. Later, gather for a Welcome Dinner with Irish beer or wine at a favorite pub. WD

Head to fabled Blarney Castle. There’s time to kiss the famous stone that gives the gift of eloquence. Then on to Killarney, the lively town on the lakes. B D
4 Ring of Kerry Excursion
Travel the road that winds around the beautiful Ring of Kerry. Mountains, valleys, lakes, and sea blend into a landscape that is often breathtaking beyond words. Stopping at Torc Waterfall, there is a chance to join a leisurely hike. For those who do not want to hike, the motorcoach will return you to Killarney, where the rest of the day is free. B NOTE: The hike travels over wooded paths and lakeshore trails. While there are no mountains to climb, walkers need to be fit, have good walking shoes or boots, sunscreen and raingear. Travel north, crossing the Shannon Estuary by ferry. Continue to the majestic Cliffs of Moher rising 700 feet above the pounding Atlantic waves. On to Bunratty. Tonight, attend a Medieval Castle Banquet - a festive way to end your Ireland vacation! B FD
