Dearest Domers, Ladies and germs! In your hands, at this very moment, rests the handbook of all things fabulous, fun, and FREE on this most epic, most outstanding, and most AWESOME week in all of the 2010-2011 school year. We present to you: AnTostal 2011! * Applause * Ok, no, seriously. Are you ready for what may or may not be the most events in one week on campus you’ve seen with your young, juvenile eyes? Can you even fathom how hard you will be slapped this-way-andthat with free food, free gear, free music, a free concert, and free fun!? Do you dare to conjecture how amazingly serene the world will be in the eyes of a Domer, as the sun glitters its golden blanket of sunshine over the quads this week, ushering in the sweet smell of summer, sunshine, and happiness? Need we remind you of the undeniably irresistible and inevitable memories you will have made by week’s end, as you and your friends milk every glorious moment of this unforgettable tradition? Well, ready or not, the week you’ve been waiting for has finally arrived! So, AnTostal. For all you noobs who are clueless as to where this grand ole tradition came from, allow us to fill you in on the deets. This 44 year-old wonderful extravaganza began in 1967 with the intention of bringing the campus together one final time before finals and summer break. Since then it has grown into one of Student Union Board’s biggest events of the spring semester! AnTostal is Gaelic for “festival,” or “fiesta,” or “celebration,” or, quite plainly, PARTY. It’s a party to allow the entire Notre Dame community to shepherd in the well-deserved summer break! As we spend this last full week of classes together,

a sense of brotherhood and sisterhood that is laced into our golden bubble will surface to greater heights than ever before. As we wish our graduating seniors bon voyage on their exciting journeys beyond our charming little town of South Bend, we hope that AnTostal will be one of their fondest final memories of their years here at ND. In other news, you know SUB always has the student’s best interests at heart, and one of the greatest complaints we’ve heard all year is how Domers just don’t have the time of day to watch TV anymore! For shame! So, keeping you precious souls in mind, we have themed this year’s AnTostal TV GUIDE! Although the remote will be in the hands of SUB and various other dorms and clubs, we promise you will not want to leave during the commercial breaks, and we’ll definitely have you at the edge of your seat wanting more! (We know. Totally cheesy. :P) We really do hope from the bottom of our hearts that you will enjoy this week as much as we’ve enjoyed putting it together for you! This is your week to tan everyday, stuff yourselves with free food, and swag yourselves out with free gear! Live it up! That’s all, folks! Peace & Love, Ashley Markowski & Sadaf Meghani AnTostal Co-Programmers 2011

Keeping up with the Kicks Kourtney, Kim, and Khole would support this event just like they support each other! Would you?
