CONGRATS! Let me be the first to say congrats on taking the next step closer to living your dreams! Being a professional photographer is a World that is unforseen by the naked eye. It’s a World of several things, several negative & positive but most importantly it’s a World of amazing people like yourself! This FREE eBook will illistrate some of the things I believe will save you while you embark on your journey! Happy Reading! Brandon Burton

TIP #1: Take Full Payment Before Any Session Thank about this for a second. Your clients are customed to paying for what they want in full everywhere they go so why should it be different for their photographer? Even lay-a-away customers have to pay for it all before receiving the merchandise. Your product is your time so approach it that way. Once you realize your time is in fact valuable your clients will also. I can promise you that if you make your clients pay before the session you will have way fewer “no call, no show” or people cancelling last minute. If you’re worried that this will scare certain clients away then no worries because those clients aren’t for you & you’re not for them. This is one way of filtering out your clients & someone else’s. Online payments is the way to go!

TIP # 2: Always have an updated headshot & bio I know with being a photographer we dislike being in front of the camera. I get it. BUT! It’s so very important to have a headshot, a PROFESSIONAL headshot. I would recommend staying away from using a selfie from insdide your car or even in the bathroom. In order for you to connect with your clients they must know what you look like. The best way for them to resinate with the way you is with an updated photo. This phtoo needs to be the default on social media, on your business cards & on your website.

Your bio should be creative but most importantly YOU! It’s so important to be who you are because that ulitmately seperates you from all the other bazillion photographers.
